Excellent focus. It took a little while for me to remember that this is a manual lens and I would therefore have to change the aperture settings on the camera. Good, easy setting up. I`m very pleased with it.

Samyang is a high quality brand and their 14mm is no exception. Build quality is superb. Warping is very low and images are very clear, even at the edges. Great for those wide landscape shots, dream-like sequences, or exaggerated sense of movement. Highly recommend as part of your lens kit.
Great product 100% recommended shop!! Postage bit long but still good!!
The amount of barrel distortion made me dislike this lens.
This lens has some distortion as you would expect, but the image comes out sharp. I use this lens on a BMPCC 4k with a Metabones XL Speedbooster, which is a great combination.
I've owned a few Samyang lenses and all except this one have been good. My copy of the Samyang 10mm T3.1 will give an acceptable image in the centre but the outer 2/3rds are a blurry mess with large amounts of CA. It's probably just a (very) bad copy but something this bad should never have gotten through quality control.
very happy with this glass but plastic hood very cheap brook in my hand
the lens was for sony and not canon

The Samyang 14mm T3.1 Cine ED AS IF UMC Lens for Micro Four Thirds was developed primarily for film and video applications. The cine version of Samyang's 14mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring, and the aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them. This lens is compatible with full-frame sensors and can also be used on APS-C-sized sensors, where the 35mm-equivalent focal length will be 22.4mm. The optical construction incorporates three high refractive index elements, two extra-low dispersion elements, one hybrid aspherical elements, and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberration and distortion to produce sharper imagery. Additionally, a UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images.
