I liked this until I used it to shoot video. It does not run fast enough to catch enough frames, and the video occasionally skips. Also, if you are photographing in continuous shooting mode for creative purposes, this card is COMPLETELY INADEQUATE. Further, the 30mb/s is too slow of a write time when burning the photo / video files to your computer.I do recommend this exact card if you are transporting documents on it or will shoot occasional photos of flowers or products with it.For photographing people, however, I INSIST you use the Sandisk 45mb/s AT MINIMUM. I actually use the Sandisk Extreme PRO (or something like that) now, which is 90mb/s. SO worth the price difference for photography and video. I'll never go back to Ultra or Extreme again.

The only SD Cards worth purchasing. I purchased this 32gb SD card from eBay at an attempt to save some money. I only paid £18 which is incredible as it’s usually around £30+ We all know the bigger gb the more storage but also look at the mb. I got the 300mb which affects the quality of footage as well as download time. I’ve had no issues with this sim and can record several hours worth of footage. I definitely need another sim as I vlog and do YouTube but I wouldn’t get any other brand or mb type.

I have been a photographer for over fifty years film to digital and, Yes, these are old style memory products, but they are for an older full frame camera that this is the largest size it can handle. I purchased another camera that uses this memory so I bought these. I have never had one fail in the camera or computer after almost ten thousand shots. I have tried other brands and have suffered random failures to the point of extreme frustration. So, for me there there is no other brand to use.

Got a new Lumix 4K camera to take movies and action shots of my grandson. Needed this card to accomplish taking the photos I wanted. Switching to 4K isn't the easiest thing to do if you want to play back your photos/movies on computer. You need a higher end graphics card, a 4K monitor and the right computer connections. Of course, you need a 4K memory card to record in the first place. Have tried all the different camera functions using 4K and all is excellent. I wouldn't want a smaller card then this 32GB as 4K eats up the memory. This is also why you want the fastest download speed. I have tried other brands of memory cards in the past and none compare to SanDisk. Recommend this product or any of their other memory cards for your photo needs.
It's just a little card that fits inside your camera or whatever and makes it work! Right?? It's so much more than that. Photography matters to me...and if I'm shooting on a job, it certainly matters to my clients. Because I can't afford to be let down by an SD card which fails, I need a reliable and stable card which isn't effected by weather (heat/cold/humidity) or normal exposure to being left in parked vehicles etc etc. These cards are fantastically stable and reliable. I have been shooting with these cards for four years now and have never experienced a failure. When shooting, I frequently use continuous shooting (burst) mode and need a card which my cameras can write to almost instantaneously. I have been shooting with these cards for four years now and have never experienced a failure. When shooting, I frequently use continuous shooting (burst) mode and need a card which my cameras can write to almost instantaneously. These SD cards rarely keep me waiting whereas other slower cards can leave you waiting before you can continue shooting while the card is being written to and catches up. This shooting lag is not only annoying but interrupts smooth shooting and potentially prevents me from getting "the" shot. This card does not do that. It is well matched to my full-frame DSLRs. Similarly, long exposure photography means a lot writing to do from camera to card. Slower cameras can leave me waiting for the card to finish writing for considerable periods before I can take the next shot. But this card isfast enough to prevent this annoying lag and keeps my photography fluent and smooth. Lastly, when your have a couple of thousand images to process following a largish event shoot, you want a card that communicates quickly and accurately with your computer and doesn't slow the tedious process down. This card is quick enough to satisfy me in each of the areas I have touched on. Those of you who aren't really into photography may think that I'm over-emphasising these features, but the enthusiasts out there who really use the advanced features of their DSLRs will know what I'm talking about. These cards represent stability, reliability, endurance and fantastic value for money. They are my card of choice and are my workhorse. I have 6 of them now and will be buying more in the future. Do yourself a favour and get one or two. You won't be sorry!!
Works well in my old video cam recorder..I can buy lots of these and put them in myvideo categorized card holder box.I don't use my phone to record 30 min of abirthday party . Cant do anything with 5 mgson the phone. Except edit the heck out of it ..to send to someone.. stupid in my opinion.
I am careful to purchase from suppliers who can give me genuine sd cards. Not saying the cheaper ones are no good just I stand a better chance with genuine cards. It is very frustrating to have images on the camera that will not save properly or download. There were 20,000 photos on my cameras last week. Trail cams seem to work for every bit of movement in the grass or trees. heheheh My canon 5D and 7D both had genuine cards, about 10, so i can change them regularly as I take photos. I use 16gb cards as if i lose the photos i do not lose all of my photos. I take some 1000 photos when I go to Philippines and loads of Videos so I find genuine cards work best for me. Needed it in time to purchase from the Nintendo 3DS store before it closed. I was worried it wouldn't have enough space to buy all the games I wanted. It had all the space I needed and then some. Very happy with my purchase.
Lightning fast in camera and when transferring files. Is recognized by my d5100, but has locked up after taking a picture 4/20 last photo shoots. Simple power cycle/reinsert card solved this. Also not read by my usb 2.0 card reader. Its a 52 in one PC kind , 3.5". Its not failed to save a picture once, even during freezing. Works great in my laptop card reader, much newer than pc. I can save 1,600 pictures in jpeg fine mode, 3,200 in normal and 6,300 in basic, all at 16mp. 473 in raw/fine. Way faster than my class 4-8gb card before, especially after taking a picture, saves picture fast and displays it quick. Also scrolling through in camera pics and on PC in card very fast. So its a form factor SDHC card because of capacity, its class 10 speed, but also uhs-1, which is the high speed bus, and the u3 is the class grade with a minimum of 30mb/s, but you get much higher (40-60) I got mine for $15 free shipping here, 1600 shots is enough for each shoot for me and I didn't need extreme pro speed/price. Newest tech at the moment and future proofs me when I get a newer d810. Great for 4k video if you can shoot it. Sandusk cards have never let me down and this is the best bang for buck if you want quality, speed and newest tech.
I bought this to replace a similar product that I had purchased several months ago for my digital camera. It had become nearly useless due to lack of space. I replaced it with this new one and can now take an unlimited number of photos, video and can likely even use it in a pinch in my laptop if needed. This might be the best invention since the floppy disc, as I can put all my photo files on it while I am shooting pictures. Couldn't do that with the old floppy. Will likely buy another similar product when this one runs out of space in a year or two.
