SanDisk 32GB High Endurance Micro SD Card

If you have a dash cam or any other recording device which keeps recording in a loop, you absolutely need a high endurance sd card. When I got a dash cam 7 years ago, I killed three normal "extreme" sd cards within a couple of years before I found out they weren't made for constant writing when full. I then purchased this product, and it's still going strong 5 years later. So now when I'm buying another dash cam for my kid's car, I'm buying this product again as it's the only one I've ever used which is up to the job.

Another great product

I have been a fan of Sandisc products and PicStop for many years. This time I bought a SD card for a new dash cam. Works well, can't comment on the specific technical ability of this Sandisc model but it has been in the car in 30 degree temperatures and it has not failed, so I believe it is performing as designed. I had not made a purchase of this type a product for several years, but coming back to Picstop has proved that the service is as good as I first encountered years ago. Well done!

Decent for the price

I bought this SD card just over a year ago and it failed on me. I thought it was an issue with my dash-cam but after replacing the SD card it turns out it was the SD card that was causing me issues.I would of liked to get a bit more life out of it as it is advertised as being able to record 20,000 hours (which is about 2 years) and I got roughly 1.2 years out of it.Overall this SD card is great for someone who needs a cheap, relatively reliable SD card for their dash-cam, however, please after a year of usage make sure to check to see if its recording every once and a while as the last thing you need is for it to fail on you the moment you need it the most.

Exceeds Expectations on SD cards for Dashcams!

Exceeded my expectation - especially regarding what I discovered after the purchase! I bought this for a Thinkware dash cam. After having my windows tinted I had to leave my dashcam removed for a week. I installed this new SD Card after reinstalling the dash cam and had an issue with the rear cam not working. I called the company and they stated they could ONLY guarantee their product with their SD Card and then ONLY up to 128GB. They wanted $100 for their 128GB card!!! This SanDisk 256BG was far less on sale! Come to find out, the card had zero to do with the rear cam not functioning. The cam was just reinstalled incorrectly. The SanDisk 256GB is flawless and works perfectly!!! Fast and Reliable in 4K Dash Cam

My previous SanDisk High Endurance (128GB) lasted about two years in my dash cam recording 4K front and 1080p rear, both at a very high bit rate. It started to have hiccups which I still cannot narrow down to dash cam or card. I reflashed firmware to the camera and that seemed to fix the issue even with the old card installed, but I thought after two years it was time to retire the card out of an abundance of caution. Still, I always test the item. This is genuine, and it is fast. Benchmarks attached, this was plugged in through an Anker USB-C hub that has a built in micro SDXC reader. The card likely would be faster through a San Disk/WD reader since read and write aren't likely really that close (which suggests the hub is the limiting factor here), but this was good enough to confirm for me that it's genuine and is plenty fast enough to record two high bit-rate camera feeds.Replacement every year is probably overkill, depending on your use case. I won't get lazy with my routine again, though. Good cards are worth the price if you ever do need evidence after a crash (I've been there, believe me).
