SanDisk 32GB Ultra Dual OTG USB Drive 3.0

Received it.in good condition. Bubble wrapped and packaged well. This OTG needs connector/adapter for USB-C. I plugged and checked storage but was only 250GB instead of 256GB. Overall, right for my needs and I have no complaints. I will update my review after I tried this out for a few weeks.

This usb is now outdated with the micro-usb port which cannot be plug into modern day phone. However, back in the old days, it was super convenient to use this usb as I only have to store media in it and can be accessed on both laptop and phone. It also act as a storage for those phone that cannot be expanded with sd card. However, it's sliding mechanism is faulty and often cannot lock the port in place. So often you have to hold on to knob while plug it into laptop or phone so the port doesn't retract back into the usb.

This is an outdated method of transferring files, but it still works really well for transferring files on older devices that don't have the ability to share over wifi/usb/etc. I use it to transfer files from a camera I have. It's relatively fast and does the job. I like that it's really compact and can fit anywhere.

A great tiny portable dual flash drive with a pretty decent capacity

A really awesome device that is portable, fast and useful both for your laptop and your cell phone. Its incredible how such a tiny little gadget (its actually much smaller than it may look in the pictures) is capable of storing a pretty decent amount of data! Its light-weight and so tiny its perfectly possible to attach it to your key ring, not even feel it and yet have it at your disposal all the time. The dual option to slide between USB and micro-USB is a great bonus, as is the free MemoryZone app. Ive tested it on my cell phone and it works great. The only potential drawback for somebody might be the slider and the key ring frame. I mean, I really like their functions and they even feel fairly durable. Beautiful little Device for interfacing two different storage connection formats.

The miniaturization is superb and is beautifully produced. Whilst I cannot fault the basic concept and its ability to apply it, unfortunately, it was the wrong second connection for me so, through no fault of the product, did not serve the purpose for which it was bought. Nevertheless, I have kept it for future possible use and would recommend it to anyone who requires its particular connection formats.

Best Compact USB Type C OTG drive for Modders!!!

This Sandisk 128gb Ultra Dual Drive USB A/USB Type C drive is the best small usb OTG drive ive used yet.My daily driver is a OnePlus 6t and i use this drive to back up and transfer files/backups on the go. The speed is great, (my portable sandisk ssd is faster, but this is fast enough for most tasks). the form factor is great. This drive is the first one ive used that can go into my usb c port without having to remove my phone from its case. Ya know, fragile glass backed glass screen devices seem to have more longevity staying in their cases, so its a great win for a longtime android modder like myself. TWRP works well with the drive as does Oxygen OS booted to system. It has two covers which you can slide into the unit to expose the USB interfaces on either side. It has a hole through which you can run a lanyard, but none was included, unfortunately. I was able to get it in though, and I could easily solve this problem by shaving a tiny amount of plastic from my Otter Box case's opening. Speed-wise, I transferred just under 28GB of data from my PC to this unit in about 44 minutes and then copied it back to my PC in 26 minutes. This was slower than other drives in this market segment I have tested, but those were USB 3.0, so I assume the slower speed was because this drive is USB 2.0. However, under "normal" conditions I would never need to transfer that much data at once and so the speed probably wouldn't be too much of a deterrent. In the end, I give this drive 4 eggs. I deduct a half egg for the lack of a lanyard, and another half egg for the speed. Other than these two minor grievances, it is a nice, very portable solution made by a very reputable manufacturer who has been making flash memory solutions for as long as I can remember. When shopping for products like this, brand reliability is important to me, and I have never had a SanDisk memory product fail.

Good Points: The convenience of having a USB and a micro USB in a single device.Great capacity, loads of space for images, documents, music or filmsThe size of the device is good. I have bought tiny 'nubbin' USBs in the past and they can get lost so easily and sometimes difficult to remove from a tricky port. This stick is small but easily found in a bag, drawer, pocket, keyring or in the back of a device etc.The metal hook is convenient too.Improvement Points: It's not the most attractive USB stick I've ever seen - I have a lot prettier ones!! But it does everything that it needs to do.

The SanDisk Memory Zone app is fairly easy to use, and gives management control of your devices internal memory and allows connectivity management of your online storage as well. It gives a nice overview graphical interface of how the memory is being used on your device, OTG USB, or memory card. SanDisk also bundled their OptiMem software into the Memory Zone app, which allows you to slightly boost access speed by offloading non-essential files to a SD card or USB drive. Overall this is a very handy drive to have, I like being able to transfer my files without having to use a cloud service, a sync cable, or having to attach a card reader to my PC. OTG really does make transferring between devices painless. The lanyard hole is painfully small, but I managed to make it work, it might be easier to use a mini keyring through the lanyard hole, but I didn't have one. I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for an easy way to transfer files to or from their phone or tablet, as long as they are not currently or planning on running Android KitKat.
