Hi all, I recently purchased this card and have been using it for about 2 - 3 months now with no issues. A really useful factor for this card is that it comes with a free 2 year subscription to SanDisks rescue pro deluxe recovery software which works very well. I have the Lumix S1R and works very well. I only use this card as a save card (My camera has a QXD slot because my camera has such a high megapixel count - 47) so I can’t be one to review its speed. (my camera saves the photos to QXD then moves it to this card once done) I don’t have any concerns of this card and will definitely be taking it up to the ski fields. I haven’t been able to find any downsides of this card. I would recommend this card to anyone as it’s great value.

This SD card is fast! If you're not familiar with the classifications, U3 is fast enough speed for 4k video (and like usual the SD card also works with a slightly older format with C10 being the fastest possible there). If you shoot 4k you need this card or a similar one, but even outside of 4k you might need this.I do much more photography than video and I always shoot in RAW+Large which means when I do a burst of shots the card can only handle so many pictures before it starts to slow down to catch up on saving the files. I compared this to a C10 card (not U3 + C10) and this took 3 more burst pictures before it started to slow, and even when slow was saving them faster. Just be sure you're getting a large enough one to store what you need.

The card is fast and great value but unfortunately will not work on iFlash adapters, at least on the iPod Classic 6th Gen. I tried it on two of these devices with separate iFlash Solo boards and both lead to the red X / impossible to restore. This does not happen with other cards. I've already rebuilt the MBR and re-partitioned the card to make sure stock partitioning wasn't the issue. iFlash adapters are known to have issues with many SanDisk products as well as a few models from other manufacturers so it's probably not a fault of the card which otherwise works great. Solid card for 99% of the things they are typically used for, I'm sure I'll find some other use for it.

Purchased this card to go in an older Canon Vixia HF G30 camcorder to capture our pool installation process. Video quality is only 1080(60fps), but that's not the cards fault that's the max for the camcorder. Got the 256GB card to be able to capture multiple days worth of video before having to transfer it off for storage on my NAS. So far the card has performed as I have come to expect from SanDisk Extreme PRO cards as I use them in all my electronics (Pro grade Nikon DSLRs, GoPro Hero 10, cell phones etc.) Always buy the biggest capacity and fastest card that my budget can support at that time and have never had an issue.
Ever since I got into digital photography almost 20 years ago, I have generally been a practitioner of the one big card approach to memory, as opposed to multiple smaller ones. From a dollar-per-GB perspective, it's obviously more cost effective. But when I recently got my 60MP Leica M11, I decided to try something different.Rather than get a huge SD card for the equally massive DNR files of the M11 (approx. 70-80MB each, so far), I decided to buy a 3-pack of these 32GB cards. If anything ever were to go wrong - even though I've never had a SanDisk card fail - with a few smaller cards, I'd only lose some of my photos, rather than all of them. Plus, the M11 doesn't do video, so I have even less need for gigantic capacities. At blazing UHS-II speeds, uploading to ... MoreEver since I got into digital photography almost 20 years ago, I have generally been a practitioner of the one big card approach to memory, as opposed to multiple smaller ones. Accelerating the workflow at the front end means less time waiting, which in the old days was the bane of my post-processing life! Speed and reliability is all anyone can require from their memory cards, and that's what SanDisk has always provided.
Sandisk cards have been so good for me, it is easy to get complacent about their excellence. This is the fastest card I have ever had and works great, as I had hoped. I am not disappointed. There are faster SDXC II cards, but not by much and I got this card for a competitive price, which made the decision easy.I got this for my new A7 IV. I like the larger camera sensor size on the Mark IV, but contrary to common sense, it took me some time to realize I needed faster cards than I need for my A7 III.The files are larger (about 1/3 larger) so there is more to write. I had just moved from V30 (video write speed) to V60 cards. I find though, that this V90 card makes a difference...enough so that I would say I need it for the A7 IV.Other than continuous burst ... MoreSandisk cards have been so good for me, it is easy to get complacent about their excellence. I find though, that this V90 card makes a difference...enough so that I would say I need it for the A7 IV.Other than continuous burst shooting, which is hard to achieve satisfactorily with this card, I really like the card. If you need continuous burst shooting, a CFx-A card is the better choice. (Don't buy CFx-B cards -- they don't fit)Hopefully, CFx-A cards will soon drop into the price range of their CFx-B cousins. When that happens, I will purchase those cards and say likely goodbye to SDXC II cards forthe A7 IV. Note, as of this writing, there are now 4 manufacturers making CFx-A, but not yet SanDisk.
In all my years using SD storing digital cameras, I've only owned Lexar, Sony, and SanDisk chips. Performance wise for the Sony and SanDisk, I've had no issues. With the Lexar, there were intermittent problems with my Nikon D810 saving properly. The Sony Tough chips are slightly oversized, so they fit snugly in the D850 and Z7II. No operational issues but if you want a faster speed, you're going to pay a top price. The SanDisk is a great alternative, with rock solid performance, high speed, and fair price. I'm not careless with my chips, so the Sony is nice to have but for me not really necessary. By the process of elimination, it's the SanDisk that's now my go to memory chip company.
This card will stop recording with very high storage recording types. I have 2 of the 128 GB 300 MB/s SanDisk Extreme PRO SD cards and they are tanks. Never stops recording, but for some reason with this 256 GB one, it does. Not sure if I got a bad card or if it has something to do with the storage capacity. This happens with my Canon C70 when shooting at XF AVC, 4K, 120 FPS, and Clog2. If I am not shooting in S&F mode and just shooting at normal mode, it works well. So I will be keeping this, but will be using my 128 GB cards for slow mo footage and using this for talking heads.
I needed a full size SD Card for my podcasting device. I shopped around and found Western Digital and decided to purchase from them after seeing all their good reviews on line and at the BBB. I chose the maximum size I could go which is the 512GB. SanDisk was recommended by the device. I placed my order, and it was promptly shipped. Good tracking information. Arrived in a timely manner. The card works flawlessly. I'm very happy with the quality of it. I highly recommend SanDisk and Western Digital. I wouldn't hesitate to come back for further purchases. A+ 5*s. Thank you.
SanDisk has been my go-to for secure digital cards. I've had a few different cards from them and they never let me down. The Extreme PLUS SD card feels well made. It's not flimsy or cheap feeling. The little lock button on the side glides well and isn't too loose. I like that there is an area to write on the card to label it. The little notch embedded in the card makes it super easy to pull out of the reader using a finger nail. This is not typically required unless the card sits in a deep reader slot or perhaps if it got stuck. As for the speeds, they are consistent and in-line with class 10 cards. I used this card in my digital camera and it was able to keep up when doing multiple frames per second.
