As of February 2022, the largest capacity MicroSDXC card you can buy is a 1TB model. The SanDisk Extreme card is also the fastest and most reliable 1TB model available, compared to other brands like PNY and Lexar, which have slower speeds. The Extreme is also faster than the older grey SanDisk Ultra cards too. I bought this card myself for my Nintendo Switch, because it's easier to purchase games digitally instead of having to insert a different cartridge every time you want to switch to another game. So far, this Extreme card has worked perfectly. Games load very quickly (15 seconds maximum) and I haven't had any issues as of yet. For a 1TB card, you actually get about 953GB of usable storage (the rest is used for formatting). Remember, MicroSDXC cards are extremely small and fragile (about the size of a finger nail), so it's very easy to misplace them and lose them, or even damage them.

I recently purchased the SanDisk Extreme 1GB SD card, and I have to say I'm very disappointed with its performance. While the packaging boasts up to 190 MB/s read and 130 MB/s write speeds, the actual results I got were nowhere near that. After running a few tests, the best read speed I could achieve was only 79.58MB/s, which is less than half of what was advertised. The write speed was slightly better at 83.65MB/s, but still nowhere near the claimed speed. For a card that's supposed to be "extreme," I expected much better performance. The slow speeds make it difficult to transfer large files quickly, and it's most definitely not suitable for use in your Steam Deck, high-performance cameras, or other devices.

I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical about buying a SanDisk memory card. I mean, I've heard horror stories about memory cards that fail and lose all your precious data. But let me tell ya, this 128GB Ultra Micro SDXC Memory Card ROCKS!I'm a proud owner of a Nintendo Switch OLED, and let me tell ya, this thing can eat up memory faster than Kirby at a hot dog eating contest. But no worries, this SanDisk card has got my back! With 128GB of space, I can download all my favorite games and still have room for all my screenshots and videos. Not only is the storage amazing, but the speed is lightning fast! I can even take it out of my Switch and put it in my phone if I need more space there, which is super convenient.Overall, I'm super satisfied with my purchase. This card is a must-have for anyone who loves gaming and needs lots of storage space. I'd definitely recommend it to all my gamer friends. So whether you're a hardcore gamer or just looking for more space for your Switch, this SanDisk 128GB Ultra Micro SDXC Memory Card is the way to go!
This memory card has been a steadfast addition to my memory card arsenal. I find myself consistently using it in critical data read/write scenarios. I can rely on the 5.1K/50fps videos or 20 MP photos I’m collecting to be stored safely and quickly for use in my post processing procedures. I have enjoyed the flexibility and speed of the memory card; whether it’s in a drone, DLSR camera, or my kid’s handheld gaming system, I am confident in the SanDisk’s data transfer speeds and stability. Sadly, other microSD cards haven’t been able to stand up to the same standards, often corrupting data in the worst time’s possible, causing costly rework or complete loss of unrecoverable data. Great product!
I received a Western Digital - SanDisk® Extreme PLUS microSD™ Speed Bump Memory Card, 64GB for free in exchange for my honest review. I use the microSD on my iPad for additional storage. I am familiar with the western digital brand and have used several products from it and so far. I am happy with this brand. This microSD card is good quality, it connects to my iPad without a glitch. It’s true 64gb storage space. The file transfer speed is quite close to what they claims to be. I tried to transfer a 4.7 GB file to this card and it only took less than one minute. Very impressive performance.
I bought this SD card to use in a GoPro Hero 10.I hesitated about buying it, because I had concernsabout using a card of this high capacity in an action camera.I worried that the GoPro software might not recognize the card at all or that it might only format it to a lower capacity, such as 128 or 256gb.However, My GoPro Hero 10 accepted this card immediately, and formatted it to the full 512gb capacity. Recorded 4k video plays back perfectly. The only difference between the Extreme Plus and the Extreme card in this size is that the Extreme read speed is 160 megabytes/second while the Extreme Plus reads at 170mbps.Both cards write at 90 megabytes/second, which is more than enough for 4K recording.I have been using this card outdoors in temperatures ranging ... MoreI bought this SD card to use in a GoPro Hero 10.I hesitated about buying it, because I had concernsabout using a card of this high capacity in an action camera.I worried that the GoPro software might not recognize the card at all or that it might only format it to a lower capacity, such as 128 or 256gb.However, My GoPro Hero 10 accepted this card immediately, and formatted it to the full 512gb capacity. It has been used for up to 60 minutes of continuous 4K video recording, with no problems.I limited the overall rating to 4 stars simply because I haven't had the card long enough yet to form an opinion about it's long term reliability.Based upon current performance, I would certainly buy another of these cards.
I've been looking to get additional portable storage for my photos so I decided to try the SanDisk® Extreme PLUS microSD™ Speed Bump Memory Card, 64GB. What's really nice about this card is it comes with the adapter. That allows me to use it with my laptop so that was a big plus for me. I was really impressed with the transfer speed. The package says up to 200MB/s read & 90MB/s write. I was able to transfer approximately 110 high res photos in about 10-15 seconds. Some of the features: 4K UHD, waterproof, temperature proof, shock proof & x-ray proof. The only thing missing is a carrying case so it has some protection when I throw it my purse/bag. Otherwise, this card works great!
SanDisk is my go to for CF, SD and Micro SD cards. I've never had a problem with them. Purchased the 256GB card to go in my GoPro Hero 10. Haven't had any issues. Created several multi-hour (~16, ~12, ~6 and ~4) TimeWarp movies on a recent fishing trip up to Northwest Ontario Canada from Northern Virginia and the card worked without issue. The GoPro overheated towards the end of the 16 hour capture, but that wasn't the cards fault. Actually as hot as GoPro's get I'm that much more impressed I didn't have any issues. Captured video anywhere from 1080(60fps) to 4K(30fps - might have been some 60 fps don't recall).
