SanDisk SDSQUAC-256G-GN6FA Memory Card 256 GB microSDXC UHS-I

I already expected that this product will work very well because it's from the official store, and also based on the ratings and reviews about this product. Everything worked smoothly, even the whole transaction and delivery. I received the product in only 3 days (south luzon) and did not experience any delays. Also, before I stop typing, I would like to remind other people, especially those who are planning to buy this product that you should not expect an SD card to fulfill its full capacity. Just because it says that is has 64gb capacity, doesn't mean you'll actually get to use the whole 64gb.REASON: When you buy an SD card, for example, it usually says \"64GB\" or \"32GB\", but that does not mean it will fit exactly 64GB or 32GB worth of data. The actual amount of memory available on an SD card can be less than the advertised capacity. This is because the manufacturers use a different unit of memory measurement called \"Binary Gigabytes\" instead of the commonly used \"Decimal Gigabytes.\" Binary Gigabytes are larger than Decimal Gigabytes, so that means there's less space available on an SD card than you'd expect. Kung di na gets, check google or watch YT.

Capacity in spades, speed is metered.

There's not much to review for anything solid state besides the speeds and feeds, so I'll get them out of the way first. It seems to have a 0.5-1gb write cache, after which write speeds fall off a cliff to 30MB/s, read speed seems to be about 90MB/s, no cache or other limits. The card is somewhat compact, but it has a slight bulging cover on the backside, where presumably the extra space is needed - it still fits inside my steamdeck. It gets hot during long, sustained write operations, and I hear that high temps is good for NAND flash (not the controller, mind, but the flash media itself), so that's not entirely a bad thing. For game hoarders like me who are using a steamdeck, I strongly recommend putting the deck in desktop mode when you're downloading large ... MoreThere's not much to review for anything solid state besides the speeds and feeds, so I'll get them out of the way first. You can configure the device to wait an hour before going to sleep, or wait indefinitely if it's plugged in - so you don't burn in your OLED display or just get the download interrupted by sleep mode.
