I bought 2 of these drives to use as utilities because of their small size. I intended to use one for formatting hard drives and the other for installing Windows. On 2 different computers the same problem cropped up with both of these drives during Windows installations. Files were missing from the flash drives needed to install Windows. And Windows interrupted and halted the install, which means having to start all over from scratch with the install. It happened at different points. One time at 1% complete, another time at 83% complete still another time at 91% complete with no blue screen error. No fault of B & H Audio.The drives I used to install Windows that did work I also bought from B & H a while back so it is the Sandisk that is not suited for Windows installs. Thats my review.

I have previously bought this product from Tesco Direct, but they have since closed. Also, PC World (Curries) are too expensive, so this is a good price. The product is small, so be careful not to lose it. I use it at home so I keep it in its packet, so that I recognise where it is put. If you do keep it loose, then I suggest hanging it on a lanyard for safe-keeping. Also, if it is kept loose then you may need something to cover the USB end since it is left open and it does not have a lid. The device is sturdy since it is made of metal, but if it is used for very long periods of time then it may heat up. I have used my ones continuously for 2 hours or so and they have been fine, but I suppose if they are needed for longer then you should transfer files in blocks so ... However, if it may be hot, then there is a black plastic belt/bar on one end to remove the USB safely. My laptop memory is pretty full and it runs quite slowly compared to laptops these days, so when it comes to transferring files I do it in blocks to keep it running smoothly for an average pace, but a good speed with regards to the size of the device and its price. Another good reason to transfer in blocks is not only that it appears to transfer quicker, but it is more reliable. I don't know if it's my laptop, phone or the memory stick, but when I try to transfer 1000+ photos in one go, there is an error and I have to transfer the files that failed again, and manually delete the files that did transfer from my phone (both new or old phones). I successfully transfer blocks of 250 photos at a time, although this takes a while as I transfer over 7000 photos monthly. If you're not backing up video, audio, or photo files, you won't believe what a long way 128 GB goes. This flash drive is tiny. You can carry it in your pocket if you have to. Also, USB 3.0 is capable of transferring data up to 5 Gigabits per second, which is a lot faster than the old flash drive you've been using all these years. Your files will transfer quickly when it's attached to another USB 3.0 port. But if you plug it into an old USB 2.0 port on your elderly laptop, that speed is going to drop to old time USB 2 speeds.My only criticism is I wish there was a removable cover for the end of the drive just to give a little protection and prevent dust or dirt from getting inside.
I was sceptical of the cheap price and the seller (Veloreo) having a poor online reputation, but I have a bunch of legitimate 64GB Ultra Flair's on hand, so bought a couple of these 64GB drives through the Bunnings Marketplace to do a comparison.Surprisingly they're the real deal and at a good price. They appear as 57.3GB capacity when plugged in, which is normal. f3probe tests show that the shown capacity is real. CrystalDiskMark benchmarks show the read/write speeds are reasonable and as expected.All up, good deal.

This can be critical for troubleshooting headless or embedded linux devices. these Cruzers get mildy warm, but nothing like the burning hot Samsung USB 3.0 versions they are bootable, recognized in linuxandroid and accept whatever filesystem format and partitioning scheme I throw at ... Most hackers have a drawer full of old flash drivessdcards that WONT be recognized by the BIOS POST, but the Cruzers are on all my devices across the years. Also, Id rather GIVE someone a USB button with the 4K video100 pics I made at an event, because I dont have a photo sharing video site, and Im not about to upload everybodys kids family to Youtube, just so we can share the videos. These devices read at 29MBs and write at 12MBs. I havent had one fail yet and I own dozens and useem hard.

It fits snugly and securely into your computers USB port and whereas similar devices stick out a few inches and look vulnerable to breakage, this one protrudes less than one centimetre from the USB port and is, consequently, much more robust. At the same time, the device is easy to remove. SanDisk is universally respected for its precisionmade flash memory products. So, no worries there. If there is one weakness at all, it is very much a human one. My SanDisk Cruzer flits between house and car my entire music library, in miniature, on the move. One careless moment and this fab piece of kit could easily end up outofthis world.
Over all, for the price is a good deal. The speed is average, nothing to complain about. The only issue I had was initially I wanted a bigger capacity. Like a 512gig. While the site did have a larger capacity flash drive, it wasn't sold by Walmart, it was a 3rd party seller. Not that it's a problem necessarily, but it would have taken longer to get, and I wouldn't have been able to use my discount.It seems decently constructed, and doesn't feel cheap. It's actually a metal case. The only thing I don't like, it doesn't retract to protect the connector, and it didn't come with a cap to keep dust out of the port when not in use. But all in all, not bad for the price.
