This is the second Sandisk 32GB Micro SD card I've purchased for use with an Android phone. The first was for my Mum's phone, so I knew when my phone started running low on space this was a must-have! I have quite a few of these and they are easy and very smooth to use. These are designed for great general use of file transfer and are great for extra storage on phones, etc. Very convenient and value for money, great for what you get for the price! :)As previous customers said plus if you research further, DO NOT use these for dash cams or for surveillance, these microSD cards aren't designed for that. Sandisk have a different type of microSD card for that (high endurance cards).
Definitely not recommended for dash cams. They use cheap TLC technology and I have had 3 fail from Officeworks. One completely failed, no computer or cam could recognise it and the other two had problems saving files and caused pixelated video. I only recommend MLC high endurance cards. Look for any card advertised as high endurance.
I have used this product before from the same seller and they have worked flawlessly from the time they were installed. San Disk through the years has always been a reliable product line. I highly recommend this product.
SandDisk is very reliable brand. I've been using it on Raspberry Pis. It can store the OS, read and write very well. With the adapter it can be flexibly inserted in many types of devices. Unlike Highly recommended products, unlike other cards, this one does not die easily
always seem to just work. I've used some other cards in car cam/crash cam, and after an initial period of doing fine they seemed to have frozen. Even removing the cards from the cam and installing in a computer to force a "formatting" of the card only works for a little while then those cards seem to fill up again even though the cam settings are on overwrite. (checking those cards on computer have shown empty but???) No such problem with the SanDisk though
Item arrived very quickly. I tested by writing over 28gb of data from my PC to the card. It averaged about 6mb per second write speed. Erased data and tested again with another 18gb. Overall a reliable SD card. It is now in use in my granddaughters 16gb tablet giving her 48gb's of storage for her music, pictures, and videos.
In the last few months I have bought 6 of these units from different suppliers. Out of the six packets, two of the adapters had the write protect tab missing. This meant that I need to use older adapters when I need to write. I think Sandisk needs to check their factory output more regularly to ensure the adapter is perfect. Apart from that, the SD itself is fast and reliable. I use them for recording video of live bands and the result is very good.
