I’ve purchased this a few times and love the freshness of the mix. It lasts and lasts and keeps my clothes moth free and fresh. I put mine in little bags on the coat hangers and spread them around the wardrobe racks. I also keep some with my underwear. There is nothing nicer than putting on a coat from storage and smelling that beautiful aroma. I also have the terracotta pomegranate at the back of the wardrobe by my jumpers to give them extra protection. Personally I prefer the aroma of the potpourri.

Absolutely love this pot pourri, it’s such a distinctive scent. I place it all around my home and it’s always lovely to be met with this smell when I walk into a room. The only thing I’d love to change is the ability to keep it smelling as strong as it is when first opened, I find it dries up quite quickly.

We live in the UK and we visited an Antique Centre in Tetbury.As I walked through the door the fragrance of this pot pourri lifted my spirits and drew me to the display.Of course I had to buy some and when we are in Florence in March 23....I will be visiting the outlet for more purchases!I am breathing in the wonderful fragrance of eucalyptus, sage, sandlewood, pine, and a few more I cannot identify!Thank you.

I bought this after seeing it on the website. I visited Florence as a student many years ago. I fell in love with the place and cried on the train as it pulled out of the station away from the city.... the scent is beautiful. Thankfully not sweet and cloying like so many “modern” scents, but a robust ,herbaceous, floral scent which lingers, and creates a clean fresh smell. I have carefully doled it out. Keeping it for my airing cupboard. It has now lost every bit of its fragrance, so it’s time for more. Good.
This is the only pot pouri I’ve bought that I can smell as soon as I enter the room. Actually the smell gets stronger over time. I love the smell but perhaps some may not. I hesitate to say this as it could put people off, but the smell reminds me of church incense. If you want to really smell something pleasant and slightly mysterious on entering a room , buy this.
When you first open the bag, the smell hits you. It is not entirely pleasant at first as it is raw and too powerful when first released, but it quickly settles into the most amazing smell I have ever encountered. It is highly addictive.
Discovered this amazing company via a London designer. I ordered the Santa Maria Nouvella pot pourri after her recommendation. I was a little surprised at the delivery cost but was determined to have this fragrance in my house no matter what cost ! I am absolutely in love with this opulent fragrance. My house smells glorious. I shall be purchasing again and also some of their tempting fragrances.
I first discovered this at a friends house (she has fabulous taste) and had to buy some. I’ll admit that a 200 year old house and a cocker spaniel pose some challenges in the aroma department. A few tiny pieces of pot pourri scattered around the house has made a real difference. Walking back through the front door is a joy. Love the fragrance and still waiting to see how long it lasts. Bought it on free delivery over a bank holiday, otherwise the postage may have put me off. A real treat!
I have used this in my home for nearly 30 years. Until I discovered it, I had never liked pot pourri — it always smelled sharp and full of chemical perfumes. The first time I smelled it, I didn’t know the history and said I felt a like it should be in a Medici chalice! As it is, it just may have been. Glorious stuff.
I’ve been interested in the Santa Maria Novella brand for years and recently discovered that Libertine has the range. Needing a subtle yet constant scent in a single room provided a reason to try SMN’s pot pourri. The result is that I can’t detect a scent at all. Even so to do it justice the room does perhaps smell a little fresher. Maybe this is what pot pourri is supposed to do, and I’ve simply become used to diffusers.The brand is iconic, beautifully presented, and I believe it’s worthwhile trying a different product in their range.
