While I was hoping to get Rx 6800 but availability and prices made me go to this one. In any case, 2 fans, lightweight, and design by Sapphire is very good for this video card. I couldn't make it reach 90C and it's fairly quiet. In comparison to the XFX 308 Qick 3 fan 6600 XT, the Sapphire one is almost 1/2 inch less in thickness and about an inch shorter which make it easier to install.

Upgrading from a Geforce 1650, I was amazed at how much better performance I was getting in a number of games at my monitor's 4k resolution. Running a benchmark highlighted that - triple the performance of my older card in 3dMark11! However, when running Folding @ Home research, the performance advantage of nVidia's CUDA just cannot be beat - seeing this card that has 300% the performance in synthetic game tests perform only 10-20% better in compute tasks leaves a bit of a bad taste. And ray tracing performance lags, as well - you aren't going to be playing many new games with ray tracing enabled beyond 720p resolution with this. Certainly it's good for what it does - but be sure you have a good understanding of its limitations!

Card is solid for 1440p at 60+ FPS. with other AMD Fidelity and res upscaling you can make your FPS better, If you are good with 1080p gaming this card delivers it all. If you want the 4K go for a 6800 XT or you will be disappointed. I am satisfied with purchase because of the GPU shortage and the price I was able to buy it at but would have been happier with a 6800 XT except Im not about to pay 3x MSRP for one, which is the biggest reason why I give this card a solid 5 Eggs!!

Thank you again newegg for having great customer support. With GPU prices going the way they have, I did not think I would get out for less than $1000.00, however with this I'm set for the foreseeable future. Check benchmarks and make sure it can run the game you want at the resolution/refresh rate you want. I don't play the absolute newest games so a more budget card worked for me.

Lastly, this card is perfect for editing videos (720p, 1080p, and 4k footage) in Davinci Resolve. I've had absolutely no issues with playback or rendering at any resolution I've worked in. That being said, I haven't edited RAW. I've been editing 4-6hrs per day on it and really pushing it with some of these projects and it's been stellar. GPU accelerated exports in H.265 are scary fast. Ultimately, the GPU market sucks right now and ALL cards are being sold at WAY OVER MSRP. I was fortunate to purchase one just before Black Friday in a package deal for very close to MSRP. If you're looking to upgrade from an archaic card like I was (even something like a 1060) and you're comfortable with 1080p gaming (which most of us are limited to) this card is a great buy! Shipping was fast. The packaging was solid. Newegg experience 10/10 per usual.
Son wanted a gaming PC. Decided to find something budget friendly and found this card. Plays Minecraft and Roblox just fine and looks crisps with good frame rate. Would recommended to anyone wanting a budget card that provides a simple build and no flashy led lights. Card size is perfect if you have a small PC.
This is a great card for 1080p and some 1440p gaming. can play a lot of games maxed out setting on 1080p and you can turn some stuff down for a great look at 1440p as well. Temps are nice and cool and it uses only about 150w total power. I think it is awesome how power efficient this card is over my old 10 series card and gets way higher frames.

The 6600xt is a very powerful GPU. This is a very good option if you’re looking for a mid-range graphics card. It has a fancy, sleek design with 2 fans. Overall, I would recommend the card if you cannot find a 3060 or 3060ti.
PRO: An amazing product for my pc rig and AMD Ryzen 5 3600x. I am also running 32gb of ram with XMP and Smart Access Memory. Runs really well as expected to. CON: I did spend $100 more than msrp, but that goes to say in the gpu market in 2021. I do have an issue with my BIOS splash screen showing on my second 1440 x 900p monitor and not my 1080p main monitor. But windows does boot on my main 1080p monitor.
