Sara Lee Frozen Chocolate Buttercake 350g

Delicious, soft and buttery. I’ve always loved Sara Lee’s Chocolate cake. We use to buy it decades back from their own store out Liverpool way, and the same delicious taste remains. I love having a box in my freezer just in case visitors come by. The fact that it is Halal certified is the only reason why I continue to buy. Thanks heaps, Sara Lee! I wouldn’t mind seeing a lactose free range...

Once defrosted, the cake fell apart and was hard to handle. It also left a bad aftertaste. I won't buy again.

Delicious, soft cake with yummy icing. Handy to have in the freezer for unexpected guests. Cut and let thaw, very quick and easy.

Chocolatty, moist and delicious. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Enough for six for dessert. Tip: remove from foil when frozen and leave out whilst you are eating your meal. Cuts easily then, but not so much if you leave it in the foil when thawing out.

Quite dry and claggy these days. Used to be great. I wont go out of my way to buy them again.

Excellent product. Presents well, In winter I usually put in microwave for literally few seconds once it’s defrosted enough for the chocolate to slightly melt, then a dollop of ice cream, beautiful.
