I have always worn shoes that are not bulky, lightweight, and low profile. I decided to give these a try and may forever keep my low profile shoes for treadmill only. First thing I noticed was that you actually feel a rolling forward motion when walking—not as much pronounced when running. Shoe, although it looks huge, does not feel bulky and they are lightweight as well. I have always found Saucony shoes to be a half size small so I ordered a half size large and they fit perfectly. I wear a 11 shoe and Saucony for me is always an 11.5.

Really like these shoes. Comfortable, light, and more stable compared to other brands I've tried. Love the color scheme and wish Saucony hadn't discontinued these. Stability because I'm prone to soft tissue injuries, plantar fasciitis being most common and these seem to minimize that.I like the VISIPRO because I usually run/walk at dusk or pre-dawn, and the hi-viz yellow and reflective surfaces do their job. Plan to try a Shift 3 once I retire these, but for now, I'll search for more of these from retailers.

I have ran in this particular shoe for several years. So when I found a company that carried this shoe I was elated. I purchased two pairs. But after receiving the shoes, I quickly realized that the shoe’s width was too narrow. I contacted customer service, they said they don’t have wider width available in this running shoe. They also said they wouldn’t refund the money but could exchange for another purchase. Buyer beware on older shoes that are discontinued, you may not get what you are hoping for!

This is, unfortunately, the worst Saucony shoe I have owned. Having run in the Pro 2, Speed 2,and Pro 3, I thought it would be a natural fit as an every day, easy mile shoe.Saucony really missed the mark with this shoe, as the shoe is heavy, unresponsive, and the plastic cup around the heel is very stuff and controls the way your foot reacts with the ground. None of the other shoes within the Endorphin line have this design, I have no idea why the Shift does. Additionally the foam is very firm and unresponsive, why was the foam from the Speed 2 not used in the shoe, less the TPU plate? The Speed 2 is a fantastic shoe, maybe the best road shoe I have ever run in for tempo and long run sessions! I was looking for a new shoe to add to my rotation and found the Endorphin Shift 2. It met the criteria I use for most of my shoes and I decided to give them a try. First, the good. I really like the rocker, the cushioning and heel/toe minimal drop. I find them extremely comfortable and at 70, comfort is really important. The not so great. I have issues with the tounge causing me issues by being short and getting out of line. The laces are too short for my tying comfort, and the heel was initially difficult to conveniently get into. Neither the tounge or laces are serious. I can get longer laces and taking more care when tying took care of tounge and lace issues. The heel issue had me concerned enough to consider returning, but apparently, with use they have become ... MoreI was looking for a new shoe to add to my rotation and found the Endorphin Shift 2. Overall, I am very satisfied with these shoes and can see more Saucony shoes in my future!
These were nice and a good running shoe in my rotation. Runs true to size, but if you like a bit of breathing space I would size up .5 (I wear 8.5 but would have preferred a 9 in these). I usually run in Nikes but have been developing toe pain(hallux rigidus) and this shoe was recommended in an article for toe pain (and by my friend) so I decided to give them a try. It definitely did help with shifting the strike from heel to mid sole, which helped the weight distribution in my foot. That being said the sole is very different from what I am used to with Nikes/Adidas(React/ZoomX & boost). These have a much harder sole (not as springy or responsive ~ it was a different ride, but it was enjoyable). Since the sole was harder shifting in speed was smooth, and the ... MoreThese were nice and a good running shoe in my rotation. I've worn the same running shoe for the past 10+ years. Had decided it was time to try something new. Saucony has a great reputation so I searched and searched for what I had hoped would be the equivalent for what I'm used to but with more support. After days of reasearch I landed on the Endorphin Shift 2. At first it felt comfortable and I was pleased. Broke them in for a week or two before running on them. It was okay initially but about a month in I realized it felt like my heels were trying to slide outward. The heel cuff just felt so loose and didn't keep my foot in place! Then I started to develop plantar fasciitis for the first time in my life! I'm very disappointed with the outcome of this shoe. Though not a stability shoe, it keeps me running the line as well as the Adrenalines I had, and permits a higher leg speed so that I can finally jog again without fear of tipping over. The comfort level is much better: no chafing from the heel counter, the upper or the tongue. Love the look, love the feel; lots to enjoy with these.By the way, really appreciated the short delivery to get these on my feet sooner. Will definitely be looking here again when time comes to finally replace them.
This shoe is almost the perfect big mileage workhorse. I'm learning that polarizing my shoe choices; endorphin speeds and pro for tempo day, speeds for long day, but heavier, slower, more solid shoes for all the easy days. For me , that means triumph and shift 2. Too many times we choose tweener shoes for those days and end up running in lighter, faster shoes than the day deserves. My legs are better off that way. The shift 2 is an improvement for me as the external heel cup is a bit softer. The only reason i dont give it 5 stars is purely personal; I am an underpronator, and the extra support of the shifts is a bit more thatn i need. Bit otherwise this is my perfect easy day/long day workhorse.
Usually a big fan of Saucony, especially the shoes, but I've been having some heel tendonitis, and these seemed to aggravate that whereas other shoes did not. I had to retire them early. They were super-stiff. If I were searching for an everyday trainer from Saucony, I would go with the Kinvara or something else instead.
