2 Pairs Had Problems

I bought a pair of Endorphin Shift 2 a few months back and the sole began to separate at the toe within a couple of weeks of receiving them. I called Saucony customer service and they comped me another pair. Unfortunately they began showing the same problem. I'll assume this is a problem in either design or more likely manufacturing process, but either way, 0 for 2 is a bad record and will make me skeptical about Saucony products going forward. I dumped another major brand for this same issue a few years ago and haven't worn their product since.

I have been buying the Endorphin Shifts now for several years and have used the 1st edition and second. I am continually impressed with these shoes! They are the most supportive, comfortable, wonderful running shoes I have ever owned. I am a mid to long distance runner and I can easily get 500-1,000 miles on these shoes before I have to switch them out. Even after they are done for running, I can wear them walking for another couple months. I will never be able to wear another running shoe ever again.

It was love at first step with this shoe! I'm an exercise walker, putting in 2-4 miles a day. I've tried many brands, and this is THE ONE I'm sticking with. In fact, I just ordered another pair in another fantastic color. The cushioning, stability, and "lift off" propels my motions for super comfort, longer and safer walks (excellent traction, even on off road hikes), and lightweight sturdiness...all deliver perfectly. Plus, they're super stylish. Heel is snug and hangs on, laces stay put, and arch support in the padding are extra plusses. Wonderful shoe! My podiatrist totally approves too. Thanks Saucony!

Favorite Marathon Running Shoes!
3 October 2022

In addition to these Endorphin Shift 2, I have several pairs of Endorphins (1 pr Reverie Pro 2; 2 prs Speed 2; 1 pr Shift). I've also got over 15 pairs of running shoes, including New Balance, UA, Asics, & Nike Alphafly Next %. Of all my running shoes my favorites are the Saucony Shift as well as these Endorphin Shift 2, as they are very comfortable. Next are the Speed 2s. I'm in training for REVEL BIG BEAR marathon in 6 weeks and plan to wear these Vizipro. I've tested them on an 18 mile run and love how comfortable they are on my feet and legs. In addition I love the colors! I haven't tried the new Endorphins 3 as yet. I love variety & colors, so if I could I'd buy them all :)

Immediately enjoyed these shoes
5 November 2022

I have always worn shoes that are not bulky, lightweight, and low profile. I decided to give these a try and may forever keep my low profile shoes for treadmill only. First thing I noticed was that you actually feel a rolling forward motion when walking—not as much pronounced when running. Shoe, although it looks huge, does not feel bulky and they are lightweight as well. I have always found Saucony shoes to be a half size small so I ordered a half size large and they fit perfectly. I wear a 11 shoe and Saucony for me is always an 11.5.

Love the shift, but prefer the original shift
10 October 2021

I’ve been a huge fan of the endorphin collection! Have gone through 3 Endorphin Shifts already and am loving my Endorphin Speed. However I decided to try the Endorphin Shift 2 to see if it really was better. Verdict: not my preference. The tighter fit is too narrow and snug on my feet which means long runs can really hurt. The speed roll is less pronounced so I feel like I’m working a little bit harder. And the responsiveness is not there. So it’s a less springy feel.Leaving this review only so the designers can incorporate into the Endorphin 3 which I would happily try if it is more akin to the Endorphin shift 1.

New to Saucony
2 October 2022

I was looking for a new shoe to add to my rotation and found the Endorphin Shift 2. It met the criteria I use for most of my shoes and I decided to give them a try. First, the good. I really like the rocker, the cushioning and heel/toe minimal drop. I find them extremely comfortable and at 70, comfort is really important. The not so great. I have issues with the tounge causing me issues by being short and getting out of line. The laces are too short for my tying comfort, and the heel was initially difficult to conveniently get into. Neither the tounge or laces are serious. I can get longer laces and taking more care when tying took care of tounge and lace issues. The heel issue had me concerned enough to consider returning, but apparently, with use they have become ... MoreI was looking for a new shoe to add to my rotation and found the Endorphin Shift 2. Overall, I am very satisfied with these shoes and can see more Saucony shoes in my future!

Nice running shoe,
16 September 2022

These were nice and a good running shoe in my rotation. Runs true to size, but if you like a bit of breathing space I would size up .5 (I wear 8.5 but would have preferred a 9 in these). I usually run in Nikes but have been developing toe pain(hallux rigidus) and this shoe was recommended in an article for toe pain (and by my friend) so I decided to give them a try. It definitely did help with shifting the strike from heel to mid sole, which helped the weight distribution in my foot. That being said the sole is very different from what I am used to with Nikes/Adidas(React/ZoomX & boost). These have a much harder sole (not as springy or responsive ~ it was a different ride, but it was enjoyable). Since the sole was harder shifting in speed was smooth, and the ... MoreThese were nice and a good running shoe in my rotation. Not what I had hoped
13 April 2022

I've worn the same running shoe for the past 10+ years. Had decided it was time to try something new. Saucony has a great reputation so I searched and searched for what I had hoped would be the equivalent for what I'm used to but with more support. After days of reasearch I landed on the Endorphin Shift 2. At first it felt comfortable and I was pleased. Broke them in for a week or two before running on them. It was okay initially but about a month in I realized it felt like my heels were trying to slide outward. The heel cuff just felt so loose and didn't keep my foot in place! Then I started to develop plantar fasciitis for the first time in my life! I'm very disappointed with the outcome of this shoe. I really wanted to like these shoes but they it's too much of a ... MoreI've worn the same running shoe for the past 10+ years. Had decided it was time to try something new. Top notch high mileage workhorse
15 August 2022

This shoe is almost the perfect big mileage workhorse. I'm learning that polarizing my shoe choices; endorphin speeds and pro for tempo day, speeds for long day, but heavier, slower, more solid shoes for all the easy days. For me , that means triumph and shift 2. Too many times we choose tweener shoes for those days and end up running in lighter, faster shoes than the day deserves. My legs are better off that way. The shift 2 is an improvement for me as the external heel cup is a bit softer. The only reason i dont give it 5 stars is purely personal; I am an underpronator, and the extra support of the shifts is a bit more thatn i need. Bit otherwise this is my perfect easy day/long day workhorse.
