An innovative update to stability

I really enjoyed the changes of the Guide 14 compared to the Guide 13, but I LOVE the changes from the 14 to 15 (after about 60 miles of running).I'm alternating between the Guide 14 and 15 now, and the Guide 14 feels flat in comparison to the 15. The 15 is noticeably lighter and the toe spring gives the shoe a bit more umph and excitement for when I want to pick up the pace. The Guide 15 is a softer and springier shoe than the 14, but I'd say it's still on the firmer side.In terms of the stability, I think some people might notice a *slight* decrease in stability, but, to me, it is still just as stable as a Hoka Arahi or Brooks Adrenaline. I think it's a good thing for Saucony to move away from a posting in this shoe to something that is less obstrusive and nearly as stable. For fit, at first I thought the shoe was a little small for my normal size. However, since my first run, the shoes have felt true to size. It could've just been me getting used to the fabric, but I also think I would be okay in a half size up without it feeling big.Overall, I think the Guide 15 is Saucony's best iteration of this shoe (that I have ran in).

Fine, but not the best (and surprisingly not very durable)

These are fine as a daily trainer, but aren't particularly durable. After 300-350 miles, the upper is starting to tear along the seam near the mid-sole. Not just for me, but a teammate as well. HS XC and track runner. Fine for daily training / tempo, would recommend something different for track speed workouts. Not as stable as Brooks Adrenaline GTS or ASICS GT 2000. For the price, would go for something else (that is often discounted a lot more).

I got them just recently and did two 3 mi runs. Seem comfortable and I feel the soft PWRun layer. They have a plastic arch inserted on the inner side around heel. That gives the "guide", which used to be very popular but recently, almost abandoned. Additional feature, not mentioned, is the gusset tongue instead of a loop. It apparently works better. I bought it wide but had to stretch it a bit. They offer a good ride with no lingering soreness.

Great Guide
1 September 2022

Been wearing Guides since version 9. The 15s are very comfortable, light and responsive. The cushioning is actually kind of springy and the upper fit is great. I like the longer, flat laces that I can backache for a very adjustable fit. The FormFit sock liner is thicker than previous versions and those found in Brooks shoes, so I don't find the need for a custom orthotic. These are best fitting Guides since the ISO series. It seems like many runners didn't like the ISO design, but it worked for me. I'm not much of an overpronater, but I like the extra stability the shoes provide, which seems to help my knees.

Partially wide guide 15 ?
5 June 2022

The guide 15 is a great shoe, truly. My drawback is that I ordered the wide version to get a wider toe box but instead my toes are still squished together at the front like a normal width shoe and now the upper is baggy from having excess material around the laces/mid foot. I think it would be really helpful if saucony described their “wide” versions as the same width shoe having a larger mid foot upper material. Not the same thing at all. So I’m quite disappointed with that and I feel that I should’ve bought the regular width instead because it would fit the same up front. Other than that, the shoe is very responsive and streamline. It makes me want to run fast with confidence which is not what I expected out of this stability shoe but I’ll happily take the great ... MoreThe guide 15 is a great shoe, truly. Quality Declining but still a great shoe!
9 August 2022

Please read the whole review. Short version as the title states is that there is an obvious decline in production quality from the Glide 14 to 15 but I would still absolutely recommend this as a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair of Saucony's. I have always had a hard time finding good running shoes as my feet are uniquely flat, but Saucony Glides have really helped me with a lot of my running issues/discomfort! Unfortunately, I am sitting here with the pair of Glide 14's that I am replacing next to the Glide 15's I just bought and I must say, Saucony has taken some really obvious shortcuts with this new model. Since I use mine almost exclusively for running and I replace them about every 6 months, I'm not all that concerned with them wearing out before my next ... MorePlease read the whole review. If you are a more casual shoe user and hope to get a long life out of your shoes before replacing them, then be wary of this newest model compared to the previous, because they definitely don't look like they will hold up as well.If it wasn't for the noticeable decline in quality, this would have hands down been a 5 star review.

Running knee pain be gone!
20 March 2022

For the longest time I've run using Nike free runners & Reebok zigzag shoes. I had kind of gotten used to having knee pain even after a warm up and stretch using those shoes. I had enough and ended up finally giving in. I went to a local running store and told them my issues. "When I run in my Reebok zigzags it feels like my stride is hitting the ground too soon and this causes my knees to hurt. With my Nikes, it just feels like I'm running without any support for my ankles or knees." We ended up trying these shoes in the non-wide version and Brooks running shoes as well. The wide version was the second set of shoes I tried and I was like "Woh, my knees do not hurt at all in these. They might be the ones." I tried the Brooks last and they had the same issue as my ... MoreFor the longest time I've run using Nike free runners & Reebok zigzag shoes. I'm so happy I went and tried different shoes and got to actually run in these prior to making the buy. They're absolutely worth the money and you folks have made a customer for life.

Saucony Guide 15 Mens Running Shoes - Blue
3 February 2023

I have fallen arches, but don't suffer from atypical pronation (we ALL pronate as part of our running stride of course). As such I need a running shoe that provides even distribution of foot-strike energy, and ensures my arches remain supported for the duration of my run. Saucony has a great track record (sorry for the pun) for stability runners and the Guide 15 follow that legacy. They look great, feel very supportive, and while I haven't done more than a 5K in them so far, thanks to the horrible Irish winter, I'm reassured the toe box space, heel cuff, and mid-area are up to the challenges ahead as i get in those longer runs in Spring.

Terrible Fit for Wide Flat Feet
9 January 2023

Just received these today after reading several reviews about being great shoes for flat feet. This could not be further from the truth. I purchased Wide shoes but definitely not Wide. Extremely narrow through the middle and not just uncomfortable but painful. I have always had Wide flat feet so difficult to find shoes that are comfortable but these were some of the worst. Pain at beginning of Arch towards back right in front of heel hits the shoe arch and side causing terrible pain. So much so I could not walk in them. I went to return them and Saucony wants me to not only drop off at a location but pay $5 to do so. First and last pair of Saucony shoes for me, never again.

VERY COMFORTABLE!!!!
25 November 2022

Amazingly comfortable. Feet "lean into" these shoes making it feel amazing when pushing off the front foot. I'm a sizeArch support 4/5Fit (true to size) 5/5Comfort 5/5Aesthetic 6/5. Did i mention these look fantastic! A slim profile that would look great to wear everyday in summer. I got them in navy blue from Claremont TAF. Not sure if they're available on the webComfort 6/5. Yes, these are indescribably comfyI have narrow heels, low arches, average foot height, and a "slightly" wider than average forefoot. These shoes are definitely an uograde from the GT1000 ASICS i used to own and run regularly in for around 2 yearsHave not yet had a run in these but i am feeling hopeful
