These are my new favorite shoes. Fits great looks sharp and have lasted. The soles hold up to lots of walking. The construction of the shoe is solid with good materials. Only complaint about the shadow original is that only some color schemes are available. Some of the discontinued colors you see on other websites look awesome. I currently wear the grey and ebony. I will be buying another pair as backup since they look so sharp.

Nice shoes (this would have been my second pair). However, I returned them because the color displayed in the picture is a lot brighter and popping than in actuality. I whish you could find all the color options that can be found in Europe.On a side note, the quality is not great. The old pair lasted less than a year as the fabric behind the Achilles started to deteriorate only after a few months and it is all ripped now.

It’s funny I received this email today. Just yesterday I was thinking to write you about my shoes… I bought them not long ago and already they’ve got holes on the inside and outside edges by the toes. They are essentially not wearable if I want to keep my feet dry or have support. I appreciate that things don’t last the way they may have used to, but less than a year for a pair of $100+ sneakers is pretty disappointing. I like the fit and style of your shoes (why I bought them) but I’m not sure I’d purchase another pair at this point.

Been loving these originals since my first pair back when I was just a kid in middle school. Got me a pair of these going on two years ago & I still wear them every single day. They are extremely comfortable, nothing too flashy, and very durable. Will definitely be ordering another pair.
I've wanted a pair since I was in middle school. I honestly don't know why I never purchased. These shoes are hella comfortable and go pretty much with any outfit. I highly recommend.
I bought the shadow 5000s about a month ago. After taking nearly two weeks to arrive when they did show up there was already a crease/dent in the toe part of the left shoe. Last pair of sauconys I will ever buy.
Over the last couple months I have bought several pairs of the shadow and the originals jazz pro. Oddly the foot bedding has changed. I’ve returned 2 pairs bc the foot padding isn’t as soft a d marshamllow-y as they used to be. Also the tongue on the new ones is no longer padded. They are definitely cheaper quality than they used to be for 80$ shoes. I wear these with scrubs so it’s important that the quality withstand and also that the footbed is comfy! I still have a pair from 3 years ago and these are better quality! Disappointed:(
I love the look and appreciate they came with two different colored laces. The size is an issue though. This the second shadow I've bought that feels a half size too small, and not wide enough, until "broken in". I've bought 10.5 Shadows in the past and they are fine. In fact, I placed them next to each other and they are visibly smaller thought marked as the same size. I just dont have the energy to repackage and ship back for a different size. I'll just know to buy 11s in the future
I've been buying these shoes for decades. I don't run anymore, but the shoes are still very comfortable. My relationship with these Saucony shoes has lasted much longer than many marriages,
Although I ordered the Original Shadow (for men), the shoe I received was nothing like the Original Shadow. (Among other things, it is much, much narrower.) The shoe received might be great for some people. It is well constructed. However, if you want the Original Shadow for men, do not order this shoe.
