65 miles in - top shoes

I have Endorphin Pros, but pronate, so I went for the tempus as a potential half/potentially full marathon training/race shoe.So far, pretty good! Currently I run about a 19:30 5k and I did a tough sub-20 Parkrun in these last week, so they can handle a decent sub-half marathon pace pretty well. They’re not mega cushioned like next%s but, bizarrely, I don’t really think about my feet in these, which for anyone with pronation issues - that’s a big plus!65 miles in, these will go to 300, maybe more! Stability is noticeable initially (albeit quite mild) then becomes unnoticeable and I’ve had no issues running in these.Great shoe, nothing like them in the market.

Comfy, supportive, and responsive for short walks!

I don't run, but love to try new shoes for my walks which can last up to 3 hours. I recently got these Ride 15's after being recommended them. The cushioning isn't nearly as close to that of Bondi 8's which are my other favourite go to walking shoes. But these have great support lacking in the higher platform shoes. This makes it a great walking shoe not just on pavement, but also uneven ground if you need to cross it. Definitely keeping these in my walking rotation, especially for the shorter 30-45 minute walks! If you have a habit of wearing thicker socks, fair warning you may need to size up at least half a size or go for the wide.

Cushioned but Light.

Great shoe for longer runs. I feel like this shoe is the max cushion distance shoe in the Endorphin line. No carbon plate of course. Great balance of cushioning with a lightweight feel. I'm replacing the Triumph 19 and what a difference! After about 6 miles the balls of me feet would start to burn and tingle. Not in the Tempus. My recent 8 mile run had no sensation at the balls of my feet. I believe that the PWRpb foam in the Tempus is the difference compared to PWRrun+ in the Triumph. I believe this is the softest, lightest Saucony shoe that is great for long training and possibly races as well.

Didn't work for me.
7 April 2023

Went on my 3rd run in these shoes and they just don't work for my feet, specifically the toe box. Big toe feels cramped. Thinking that more than 3-5 miles in these shoes might result in blisters. Also, the roll of the shoe feels a bit abrupt for me - not smooth or subtle. Honestly, I would have returned the shoes after my second run, but then I re-read the pretty strict return policy and ended up keeping them. Since I was stuck with the shoes, I figured I'd try to make them work. No such luck. Oh well... To be clear, I'm not knocking Saucony or the quality of the shoe. Just didn't work for me. Such is the shoe game.

Favorite Walking shoe
4 September 2022

These are my all-time favorites for distance walking. I have tried Adidas Ultraboost 22, Asics Gel Cumulus 24, Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 and Glycerin 20, Hoka Boni 7, Nike Air Zoom Vomero 16, Air Max 270, Air Max 95, Air Max and Air Max Plus, On Cloud Stratus and Maximus and the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2. My foot is neutral and with the added orthotic insert from RoadRunner Sports (which I also tried on the other mentioned shoes), I have walked all day with great support and without any discomfort. I also own Nike Air Max 95 and Nike Air Max; although I really like their looks, I use these just for walking about, not any serious long distance walking. I am not a runner, so some of the other shoes may be good for that.

Game Changer!!
27 January 2023

Been using Saucony for a few years now, moved over from Asics. ( toe box just that bit wider also ). Used a few different models over the years and I thought the Endorphins would be my go to running shoe. However, read one or two reviews on this new Tempus shoe so I thought I’d give the m a go.I try and break my shoes in without socks on, so first treadmill run of 50 mins was a breeze. No discomfort and trainers fitted perfect.I’ve done a number of 6 to 8 mile runs in these over the last few weeks and they are by far the best Sauconys I’ve had. Mid foot striking and front foot roll off is effortless. ( can’t wait to get my first race done wearing them )I always up size by half a size in Saucony trainers. I am a size 8uk but use 8.5uk.Hope this review is helpful ... MoreBeen using Saucony for a few years now, moved over from Asics. ( toe box just that bit wider also ). Great shoe!
16 January 2023

The black/white ones are not that pretty but the white/gray ones are on point. The best use of the black ones was when I wore them to the Peach Bowl and the CFP national championship, which were both won in dominant fashion by my beloved Georgia Bulldawgs. Each event involved a lot of walking and jumping up and down after each touchdown and huge plays. That'd a lot of heel strikes. If Saucony could invent a shoe for my hand, it would be awesome because my palm was raw from slapping so many high five with everyone around me. Think about it, 9 touchdowns at the championship, an average of 4.5 high fives each, that's a lot even without clapping. Great shoe though.

Reliable Stable Daily Trainer
6 April 2023

The Saucony Tempus fits me true to size in my regular US 9.5. My pair weighing 275.2g on average. There is enough room in the toe box and I had no issues with the lockdown. I've become a Saucony convert ever since they introduced the original Speed. Their uppers are simple, feel good and work. I've yet to have any rubbing issues or blistering in any of their shoes and this shoe is no exception.Whilst the ride is not as responsive or bouncy as the Speed it does a great job for those easy daily runs or long runs where speed is not a concern. Initially I was expecting more bounce/responsiveness given it has the premium PWRUN PB midsole but its a firmer ride than the Speed. It has no nylon plate and I don't believe the midsole is all PWRUN PB. Outsole grip was okay. I ... MoreThe Saucony Tempus fits me true to size in my regular US 9.5. I think that is the only area where Saucony could make significant improvements because on a rainy day I would reach for one of my Puma shoes over this one. All in all, it's a solid reliable shoe. It does the job it is intended for and I was lucky enough to purchase it at a very good sale price. I have to point out that I usually run in neutral shoes so I can't comment on the stability aspect of the shoe other than it didn't noticeably change the way I run. I'd recommend this shoe if you can pick it up on sale.

Returned to Saucony
4 October 2022

Comfortable right out of the box. Well cushioned and supportive for my fallen arches. Orthotics ruined my past running shoes which I no longer insert. This particular shoe is advantageous in that I do not need orthotics. The build of this shoe replaces them. Otherwise, the outside heel area would deteriorate. I like the slight front toe drop. Something the previous brands lack. While running, the max cushion absorbs the shock from jogging on pavement for 5 miles over flat or slopped surfaces. Therefore, no sore knees or sharp ankles pains. I've had other brands of this type running shoe. All great. However, this one seems just a bit better

Ride 15
20 March 2023

I am on my 4th version of the Saucony Ride. I actually purchased 2 pair this time (in different colors) so that I can easily rotate the shoes. I love the plush comfort as an everyday trainer. I'm primarily a road runner but also log some treadmill miles as well as miles on a crushed limestone trail. The Ride delivers consistently. I like the new feature that allows you to pull the sides a little tighter as well. Great Shoe! I would like to see more color options in the Wide version
