My first reaction was Wow. They had a sophisticated taste and were definitely something to try to impress visitors with. But oddly as I kept nibbling (I was drinking beer at the time) the flavour seemed to diminish and they seemed much more like ordinary crisps. I guess Ingot used the the flavouring. Conclusion: not cheap, so more suitable for offering to guests than for self-indulgence.

So, I decided I should start testing out all the truffle crisps (and it's been fun!). These rank as my No 2. These, to my taste buds, are close to number 1. These are the best on Ocado, (No 1 for me, if I am honest, is the M&S ones, which of course you can't get on Ocado.......yet). These are my second most ever all-time favourite crisp flavour! The flavour is quite truffley, without being overpowering and the crunch just right. The Rosemary adds another taste dimension, that makes a wonderful combination. An obscure packaging image and you have to get over the Cadbury purple colour and just enjoy the perfect crisp "hit", this excellent flavour goes brilliantly with a glass of wine or a general drinks snack!

I received this item from Ocado to review. I really liked the idea of these because I love anything truffle but to me they taste like sour cream and onion (which I detest) with truffle flavour. I can't get past the other taste enough to enjoy the truffle. That said they were a nice texture and I had guests who devoured them. In short, if you like sour cream and onion or cheese and onion and you also like truffle, try these. Otherwise stay away!

Taste a bit like cheese. Not what I expected and as other said the rosemary is quite overpowering. Cant finish the pack due to the cheesy flavour overwhelming. Disappointing. Will have to plump for the more expensive Spanish product instead.
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I'd never tried (or even thought of) having truffle and rosemary together before and I was really pleasantly surprised with their taste. There was quite a strong truffle smell when I first opened the packet and I thought that the crisps might be overwhelming and the rosemary would be totally lost. Pleased to say that this wasn't the case at all. It was nicely balanced and I would defintely buy again for a party or similar.
The crisps have a nice, decent crunch. The rosemary flavour is quite obvious which I enjoyed. There is a subtle truffle flavour too. I personally liked the flavour and texture but did find them too salty.
I received these in exchange for a review. I was a little sceptical about these as I?m not keen on rosemary but wow, what a different and interesting flavour! Far too moreish - I managed to finish the entire bag during a film sitting with only a bit of help from the rest of the family, whoops!! Fantastic quality, punchy flavour, decent thick chips, will definitely be a repeat purchase. Thank you again Ocado!
I received these free from Ocado to review - wouldnt have been something I would normally choose! Lovely crisps, crunchy and decent size. I only have a vague memory of tasting truffle many years ago so Im probably not the best person to comment on the authenticity of the flavour. Certainly tasted different! I didnt find them too salty but the flavour wasnt for me. Expensive too.
Received as a free sample from Ocado. I have never tasted truffle before and was intrigued. I was expecting a strong, savoury flavour- maybe like mushroom - but it was thankfully more subtle than that! The herby rosemary flavour was probably the first thing I noticed, with a warm background taste that must be be truffle. Very fresh, crunchy and moreish. The crisps are a nice light golden colour - Im not a fan of the overly fried look or oily taste of some crisps. Im not sure Id rush to buy this particular flavour again but I did very much enjoy them- and the quality would definitely make me want to try other crisps in the same range.
We received this free to review from Ocado. I am giving it 3 stars as we had a split opinion. My husband hated them but I quite liked them. Nice smell of rosemary when you open the bag and as others have commented, they are quite salty and heavy so only had a few each time. I liked the taste and it left a nice lingering taste of roast dinner in my mouth.
