Bought these bypass loppers a few days ago to do some pruning on a couple of trees that had been neglected for a few years and it did the job really well. They can cut some branches less than 2cm in thickness but I did notice that the blade edge had started to dull at multiple points. The opposite the cutting blade are some teeth which hold onto the branch to secure a clean cut. Overall I am really happy with this purchase for the cheap price. It did the job well and with a little sharpening and oil, should be good as new again.

Original pivot Bolt is 2 small and has a washer to compensate. good for the price but if you use a correct sized bolt with Teflon tape to stop unthreading then it is usable. unmodified the blades come apart and dull or dent quickly which is pretty much before useless after first use. Original Bolt with nylon nut keep getting undone after every cut.

Cant complain about this lopper, cheap and does well if you have just a few branches to trim every so often.
Really surprised at the quality of this Lopper. the best $9 I have ever spent.I have an overgrown tree which was covering my letter box - it cleared up all of the overhanging smaller branches so easily. I even got it to cut some bigger ones with a little bit of effort.I love it. it definitely does the job.
Very happy with the choice of this product. Works well in the garden, Don't use on very thick brunches though.
These loppers are great for me as I’m not an advanced gardener. I have a permanent back injury and I can work these just fine. I like them.
Convenient to use, light weight and effective.
For $8 everyone is thinking that surely these's loppers will fall apart on the first weekend, but they are surprisingly good. For pruning soft woods like fruit trees, these are all you need, just don't ask more of them than they are designed for and they'll do the job. You definitely won't need to spend $80 for "ergonomic hand grips" and "telescopic handles" that are a vulnerable weak spot anyway.Keep them clean, sharpen the heads once in a while and you'll get plenty of use out of them for general yard maintenance. I don't know how they do it for $8 to be honest.
