Would recommend if have two cars parked in driveway and can’t use jumper leads due to parking positions. Unfortunately the battery of our second car ended up being cactus however it was useful for the instance we needed to rely upon it. Add this to you car emergency kits ladies, jumperleads are good but not if you can’t access another vehicles battery.

Does the trick, topped up the battery in on my VROD Muscle. You need the access trickle charge connector. The connector is usually installed by bike shops for their own convenience. To check if you have the trickle charge connector examin the wiring at the front of your bike. So you don't to take the tank cover off to get at the battery. This charger will save you a heap of time.

My battery was dead flat. Hooked up the battery charger, and within 15 minutes, I was good to go. Simple to follow instructions and easy connection. This product is worth every cent.

I explained the sort of batteries I needed charged and was guided to this product as the one I was considering wouldn't have worked. Indeed, it was the same reason the one at home wouldn't work. On using it at home it worked very well, as explained in the shop.
It's OK for the price. Solidly does the job. However, it's not a system that you could just connect and forget. I think the CTEK branded ones are better as my understanding is that they will mimic real life driving (discharge the battery a bit and then recharge and repeat).Due to lockdown my Prado has been in the garage for about a month. So I put this one every week or fortnight for about 30mins ~ 40mins as per the instructions and take it off. I set alarm to remind me which is why I say this isn't a fix and forget type of device.
I purchased this charger to charge my motor bike. The Battery was dead flat, and this charger had it working in a short while. Much better than my previous loectronic one, because it had to have some charge to begin with. Colour me impressed
I had 3 batteries in 3 cars that were almost flat from no use over past 3 months. I used this charger on all 3 batteries and every battery came back to life from dead to fully charged by leaving each battery on for apx 48 hrs each. All batteries were 500/550 /600 CCA cranking amps and all are now back to new. If u are patient and have 48 hrs, this charger is perfect. If u want it charged in half the time buy a SCA 10 or 15amp hour charger for double or triple the cost but this charger is a bargain. U can leave this on for weeks if u are away caause it just keeps the battery charged at 95% and turns on and off itself when battery is fine. Great charger. Highly reccomend.
I purchased this because a previous charger (Projecta) I had brand new in the box still was faulty from the factory and they refused warranty due to it's age.This was priced right, available immediately and had features I needed for stop start style battery technology.It worked great and I highly recommend this over brand name products that cost a lot more, or ebay cheapies

Charger works but it is not a 4 amp charger. The peak current that it delivers is 4 amp but the average is only around 1.5 amps. Cycles every 1 second. Current starts at 4 amps, declines to 2 amps over 0.5 seconds and is zero for the last half of the second. Average while on is 3 amps so overall average is 1.5 amps. Hence charging time is much longer than you would expect for a charger marketed as 4 amps.
