I've used every tool around to get oil filters off and this was very easy to use, I didn't need to get under the car. I had the old one off and new one on within 4 min and it was easy to know the filter was on tight enough

I was having trouble getting the oil filter off my ride on mower. My old tool broke attempting to remove it. I bought this and it removed it no problem. Handy tool.

The tool is flimsy and made of poor materials. The metal too soft and needs to be hardened.
I have returned this unit as it does not suit plastic oil filter canisters. The metal teeth gouge into the casing and damage it. I have purchased the wrap round model instead.

It's a great filter tools.It works on most small oil filter such as Toyota Hilux, but not on really small such as Toyota Camry Hybrid.
I’ve tried a few of these types of oil filter tools which have all been pretty useless. This one works really well where there’s limited space to get to the filter. I have a Peugeot 306 and the French engineers chose a spot under the inlet manifold, above the aircon compressor for the filter With radiator nearby there’s little room.
