I'm sure this oil is actually half decent, and probably just rebranded Gulf Western or similar, but I couldn't sleep at night if I used it for any length of time. I used it to do a 'mega flush' on a recently purchased used car. It was in my engine for all of 20 minutes at idle with LiquiMoly engine flush. When drained it wasn't particularly dirty, so either the LiquiMoly doesn't work very well, or the engine was reasonably clean to start with. Probably a bit of both. In any case, it's the cheapest oil available, so that's why I used it.

A good product, shame this commonly recommended oil grade doesn't come on special very often. This leads to people using incorrect spec oil in their engines.
Doesn't seen any different from the more expensive oil.I have also heard its actually made by Valvoline, and the same oil just in a different bottle.

Difficult to find an inexpensive light oil for modern cars. This one is it. Don't risk an engine it by buying a cheaper but heavier oil
Mmmmmwhere do istart, brought this the other week, used anout 500ml, screwed the lid on and placed it in the back of my car. Short end of store the lid unscrewed itself and my car smells of brand new engine oil. Not a drop left in it. How do i get rid of the smell of engine oil, i tried the fragrance spray but theres alot of oil.......hey atleast my car wont rust on the inside.

I was happy to use this low cost oil to weekly top-up a slow oil leak on my BA Falcon until I have the time to investigate/fix it properly, considering that it isn't a highly tuned/sensitive engine. I think this is suitable for 'quick fix' solutions or people who are very attentive to oil change timelines.
