Bought this 3 weeks ago; quality of materials appear okay so far and it serves its purpose well. The price is excellent ($70). The main problem is that it has to be assembled and it's not at all an easy job. The instructions and the way of assembling have to be easier (eg. holes being named or numbered, holes and screws being easy to align).

Good for light duty only. If you plan to move heavy loads or use it frequently, this isn't the one to use.Poor assembly instructions. Paint flakes off because none of the metal parts have been primed. Not powder coated. Tightening the bolts collapses the handle tubes. The tyre is plastic, not rubber and the wheel is plastic, too. Inner tube fill valve rubs on wheel so unless you take care, there's a really good chance the valve will fail.

Bought this yesterday for a Christmas present for my son-in-law.I assembled it myself which was a bit tricky as it says it requires 2 people, you only need the extra person to hold the bolts so they don't fall out while you put the nuts on.I shopped around for different prices and this was the best one I could find for the money. Good value for a light duty poly barrow. Good enough to shift some dirt, mulch etc around the house, but the poly liner is too thin for heavy duty work such as concrete, rocks etc. -1 star for the flimsy tray and -1 star for the assembly process, fine if you're an octopus. The frame, wheel and supports are adequate for this entry level barrow. OK for home duty.
Over the Christmas / New Year period we were visiting our son and his family who live in Mittagong, NSW. Our son has quite a lot of landscaping and gardening work to do on their property, however I noted they don't have a wheelbarrow. I decided to buy him one as a present, and fortunately noted that there was a 25% off everything sale at Supercheap Autos. I went early to the store in Mittagong and purchased the last wheelbarrow in stock. It proved to be ideal for the purpose, and his sons enjoyed being taken for rides in the new wheelbarrow.
Great wheelbarrow at a great price. The instructions weren’t super clear but we managed to figure it out without too much trouble. Day one we moved a few tons of rock and sand and it held up well so we’re happy with it. The tyre comes uninflated so make sure you have a bike pump!
It is not a quick or an easy build. The bolts and nuts are difficult to tighten. There are many moving parts. The tyre is flat without any instructions. The parts are complete but the manual is a bit confusing. Put it together over several days when you have absolutely nothing else to do. It will take time and ask a friend to help you hold it up when you attempt to tighten the nuts. Looks great when finished though and the price is right.
I wouldn’t have bought this wheelbarrow if I’d read closely that “it’s ready for assembly” (a soft way of saying “put the thing together yourself”). But then again, that statement I prefer would have been misleading as it is near-impossible to do it “yourself” (eg, the bolts fall out as you work on the other items so you need more than two hands). My wife and I bonded over the assembling. I have since talked to a friend, and it happening that he roped his five-year-old son in for the extra hands he needed. If that wasn’t bad enough, the instructions are obviously written by the design engineer who knows the product intimately and whose first language is not English. But I’m glad we assembled this ourselves. I've had the same "model" for about 20 years. Cheap but serviceable. This one is made from much lighter, breakable materials. The tray is very light, started to crack with moderate pressure from fixing bolts and a large crack resulted at the front from tossing in a small piece of firewood. Cheapish but still poor value.
I PURCHASED THIS RECENTLY REAR CROSSBRACE PLATE BUCKLED AND TABS BENT. ONE OF THE UNDER TRAY BRACES HAD BOLT HOLE IN THE WRONG POSITION AND HAD TO BE RE DRILLED. BOLTS OF POOR QUALITY WITH HEADS UNDERSIZED FOR A POLY TRAY. I PURCHASED GALVANISED BOLTS NUTS AND WASHERS ($15.00) TO ASSEMBLE PROPERLY.THE BRACE IN FRONT OF THE WHEEL IS BADLY DESIGNED AND TOO LOW CAUSING IT TO CATCH ON SMALL OBSTACLES. I REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW THE AVERAGE UNTRAINED PERSON WOULD GET IT ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY.BECAUSE I PURCHASE OTHER PRODUCTS FROM SCA I MISTAKENLY ASSUMED THE QUALITY WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE. OBVIOUSLY I MADE AN ERROR.I COULD HAVE PURCHASED AN ALREADY ASSEMBLED BETTER QUALITY PRODUCT FOR ANOTHER $25.00 MORE. I WILL KNOW NEXT TIME NOT TO TRUST SCA ADS.
