I purchased this based on the previous review on Bunnings website. You need to give your fireplace a proper and and clean otherwise the spray will react with leftover rust (my fault). You can see the small bubbles close up if the sun reflects on it. I would recommend 2 cans for a standard woodfire and flue and to enclose as much of the space as you can as the paint spray does linger and spread around leaving a small layer of black dust. Nothing a vacuum and mop won't fix. But extremely happy with the results this fireplace is 10+ years old (only just purchased the house) and now it looks brand new. Very happy. Make sure when you turn your fire back on to have all the doors and windows open for 30 minutes as the paint sets

Bought this to clean up some rust on the top of a fireplace. Sanded back with 80 grit, 3x light coats 2 minutes apart. Couldn't be happier with the result.

I bought this paint to restore an old gas heater for my shed. It goes on really nicely and gets fairly good coverage out of a can. The final finish is very nice with no streaks or runs.
