I bought the Scanpan 5L Low Casserole Pot to replace an old stainless steel one. The difference in quality of meals is incredible! The Scanpan pot maintains a consistent temperature, meaning you don't have to check and stir the food as often. The non-stick surface is brilliant and makes it really easy to serve food and clean the pot. No scrubbing required! With the 5L Low pot you can easily cater meals for 2-6 people (based on my experiences).

Replaced my old Scanpan, and wanted another just like it. The size and dimensions of this pan are great, because it is lower and has a bigger base than a lot of other casserole pots. The best chicken and fish curries, and casserole type dishes are made in this pan, with the meat being perfectly cooked, due to the large base. The non stick coating means ingredients don't burn and stick to the bottom. This is an invaluable item in my kitchen which gets put to very frequent use with great results. Only downside, I liked the old domed glass lid better than the new flatter design.

I have just purchased my second one of these. I used the last one a heap for around 4 years. I use this pan all the time for making casseroles (browning meat on the cooktop, then adding ingredients and cooking in the oven), making large quantities of tomato sauce, bolognaise sauce and lasagne sauce. I also use this when I stirfry - the extra depth gives more space for adding extra ingredients without everything spilling out over the hotplate. After so much use, my old one became quite grubby on the surface even though I cleaned it regularly using their suggested method. I would have liked it to last longer, but it has served me very well over the years and I could not function as a busy working mum without one of these to cook up bulk meals so well.
Simply put, love it, live it, love it. This is my second one of these casseroles, the first has been used so much over at least 12 years it needed retirement. Cleans easily, holds enough to feed a family of 4 plus lots of leftovers and now allows me to cook enough for 2 and freeze extra meals for later. Great quality, great price, can't go wrong.
I am in love with my new casserole dish. What I love about it is that I can now cook in it without worrying about food sticking to the bottom of the pot. I was looking for a non-stick pot and love this one - my first Scanpan purchase from Everten. Prior to purchase I rang the store and spoke to a lady who was extremely helpful and at that time I was guided to which one to purchase. Thank you, Everten, for an extremely pleasurable experience from the time of purchase to receiving and using my new Scanpan casserole cookware. I cannot fault anything so I'm giving this review FIVE STARS!

This casserole was a replacement for my original Scanpan which had been used continually for about 15 years and would have been still going strong if I hadn't let it boil dry and burn.I especially love Scanpan because I can brown or pan fry on the stove top and then continue to slow cook in the oven. My roasting pan is amazing. The veggies are brown and delicious with very little or no oil and nothing sticks.
I only ever buy our Kitchen Gear from kitchen warehouse as the service & price are terrific. Talk about our latest edition to our Scanpan Family. A very decent size, gorgeously made and doesn't it cook like there is no tomorrow. I have changed all our Kitchen Gear to Scanpan - there is no competition as it is quality, quality, quality. WOW What can I say. This is my 5th Scanpan product and it gets better with every addition. Cooked Morrocon lamb shanks last night on slow cook and the meat fell off the bones. Cheapest price anywhere to be seen. Thankyou so much
