Should have bought this first instead of spending more on frying pans that were not as induction friendly as the Scanpan is.Expensive? Yes. Top quality? Yes. Best induction pan tried? Yes. So expensive…well…no considering the quality and effectiveness.

I have just recently purchased a new Scanpan 28cm Haptiq frying pan. I bought this after buying the 26cm Sauté pan from Harts of Stur recently. The quality of both pieces of cookware is superb and they work really well on my induction hob. The prices were competitive and both items were delivered on time as promised. The customer service team are very professional and I had to exchange my frying pan because the first one was bigger than expected. This was done without any fuss and all went very smoothly. I would be happy to recommend Harts of Star to friends and family.

I have had another ScanPan skillet for around 8 years, and it's still wonderful. I needed a much larger one, though, so I bought this one. It is excellent. It is the same great quality as the one I have had for years--very non-stick and even-heating. My only quibble is that it is quite heavy. The weight itself would probably be OK, but the size of the skillet combines with the weight to make it difficult to maneuver. If it had a small loop handle opposite the main handle, that would have made it a 5 star pan.

This is the best Scanpan skillet yet! The micro-textured surface has great nonstick and browning capabilities and the polished stainless finish gives the pan an elegant look. I've owned every size Scanpan skillet for over 10 years and just replaced my 10.25" and 11" CTQ/CTX pans (which are still in great shape) with the HAPIQ versions. I love cooking with these pans and use them almost every day.
Absolutely a dream to cook with! My neighbors just got an induction cooktop and this was a good opportunity for them to reassess their cookware. I showed them your website and how to see which collections were induction-suitable. While the wife had one of my pans in her hand they asked me what I bought. They went back home and ordered the ten piece HAPTIQ set plus a larger size covered sauté pan. They have had them two days are are super happy with them. So between two households 8 thumbs up!
Overall, the HAPTIQ series is great, with one big exception. The build quality and non-stick surface are beyond my expectations, but the handle design is awkward, especially for the large pan. Make sure you don't have oily or soapy hands when holding the handle because the pan will spin or slip very easily. Most other pots and pans have a non-circular/round handle, which helps to provide grip if your hands happen to have a bit of oil or soap on them.
Bought as gift but I have been slowly replacing all my old pots and pans with these. They make cooking and clean up a cinch. I love that you don’t need to use much fat if any at all. Myonly complaint is that most pieces do not come with lids, you have to buy them separately. And when one lid dropped, the knob broke, so I called the company and I had to buy a new knob for $9.99 plus the quite hefty shipping unless I spent $50 so now will have lids for all pans. Careful not to drop the lids.
I got these on sale, but they are still the most expensive pans I've ever purchased. So far, I'm impressed with their durability and rock solid build quality. They are significantly heavier than the Greenpans I had and heat up much quicker. I just hope they remain as durable over time as they were when they were new.
Great frypan, solid construction and the non stick surface feels very heavy duty, like it will last for a long time. Haven’t noticed the handle getting warm but haven’t used it for a longer cook time to really test that out yet. Have had scanpan products that lasted decades so I’m hopeful this one will be the same. Great size for an all purpose pan too. So far so good!
I spent a long time researching non stick pans, being sick of cheaper ones becoming deeply marked and flaking, despite always using silicone tools. I chose these for the layered core and supposedly commercial grade non stick surface. I read they were developed for professionals seeking a material which cd be used at higher temperatures. I dont want to use at high temperatures, i dont believe high heat and charring are good for health. I just want a durable product i won't be replacing for a long time. So i spent an eyewatering amount of money to get it. I was dismayed therefore, that the 1st instruction i read was dont overheat. How hot is overheating? Why make so many claims about durability and performance and then tell users not to do it themselves. I found after using an initial few drips of oil no more was required and pancakes didnt stick to the surface, despite my hotplates being old and heating more on one side. I will look after them and hope i havent wasted my money
