Scanpan Impact Egg Poacher Set, 20 cm

I'm loving the Scanpan pans including the egg poacher. Love that the egg holders are deep enough so it isn't messy like other egg poachers.

Only problem as far as I am concerned is that is it made in mainland China. I have been trying to not to buy anything made in mainland China for many years. It is almost impossible to buy an egg poacher made anywhere else. Shame on us all. We now know what this totalitarian state is capable of doing. What price is our freedom of speech worth!!!

Oh my I really like this pan but 2 weeks in the lid smashed whilst poaching eggs! I wrote to catch and sent photos and the entire set was replaced and sent out straight straight away from catch / scanpan. Cant ask for better than that.

The Scan Pan egg Poacher is high quality cookware..the pan is copper clad on the bottom for quick even heat distribution. The lid I'd tempered glass so you can see your eggs cooking. The egg Poacher part is removable so you also have a lovely saute pan to use. The pan is high quality stainless. I purchased two...one for a gift

Great product

First time ever I have perfectly poached eggs. We have tried all methods without great success but this method is fabulous. I forgot to grease the egg cups as suggested on other reviews but it was no issue, the eggs just slid out.

I wouldn't recommend this

I wouldn't recommend this product. I had to order replacement cups as all four arrived damaged. The second set of cups that was sent didn't fit the poacher. The pan itself had a gouge in the metal on the inside on the base. The non-vented lid sprays a big mess all over the cook-top when simmering. I thought Scanpan was supposed to be one of the better brands of cookware, however, after my experience with this poacher I will certainly NOT be wasting my money on any Scanpan product in the future. A BIG disappointment!

Impressive quality

Having owned a cheaper poaching pan for years and tolerated it I decided to buy this one for a housewarming present for someone who loves poached eggs. We have been very impressed with the quality of every part. It’s a comfortable hold and weight. Materials used are definitely better quality, even the poaching cups are superior to the cheaper brands. Will probably buy another for myself soon. No issues with the lid as mentioned in some reviews.

The BEST birthday present!

Bought this one for my hubby, who is a poached egg addict, and he says it is one of his best ever birthday presents! Says it cooks his eggs to perfection, and like other reviewers, says that using that little bit of oil on the cups allows the cooked eggs to slide out effortlessly. Nicely made, heavy duty pan that looks good in the kitchen. As always, Everten is a good and reliable online company to deal with, and the only time I ever had a slight problem, they were immediately there to sort it for me.

This is the poacher I've dreamt of.

We absolutely love this poaching pan. The simplicity of use and quality of the pan is outstanding. Perfect eggs every time. Just need a tiny drop of oil in the cup and they come out without any need to prise them. A favourite with all the family. Love it.

Works like a charm!

For anyone who loves poached eggs and has tried a dozen ways to make them with poor results, this is the pan for you. The four little cups are just the right size for large eggs, and the nonstick surface is magic (although I admit I smear them with a tiny bit of butter), and with the glass lid you can see exactly how cooked the eggs are. Only quibbles are, care needed when removing eggs as hot steam comes out of the holes, and if you put the knobs further toward the edge of the pan the lid doesn't sit snugly. Otherwise, an excellent product.
