While the torch works great I have found the flame/intensity setting to not work so well. Comfortable to use and easy to start it is vey handy in the kitchen. Not sure If I would buy this model again or try another first.
I am using the Scanpan Chef's Torch for my Acrylic Pour artwork and have found the product to be exactly as advertised and it's performance is precisely what I wanted. The quality is excellent and at a good price.
Perfect replacement for another torch I had that broke...not very powerful but good for the price and made the crust for my brulee great so no complaints.
Worst blow torch. It takes around 1/2 hour to brûlée one tart.
This is great. made the first lot of cr猫me brulee the other night and had the husband eagerly waiting to "burn" the sugar on top. I am sure it is the red colour that makes it work better.
This is the second one I've bought. This is for my daughter in law for Acrylic Pouring for which this product is reliable and never fails me. It looks smart, acts perfectly, ideal for this application.
