This is my second pair of this model boot, the first pair worn so much the tread was gone. So far this pair wear just as well. It's worth the investment if you walk a lot, they are comfortable from the outset and stay that way through the life of the boot.

These are the best boots I've ever owned .very comfortable and get better the more you wear them .now on my second pair. these are a little bit more expensive but you really do get what you pay for.very tough never split or ripped. I just wore them out . These boots are amazing.

Awesome Boots

These are currently the best boot I have owned. I wear these every day. So far they are about 18 months old. These are the only boots that last this long. I’ve got maybe 2 months left in them. I will be buying another pair.

Even better than my last pair of Scarpas

Outstanding. I'm an EU 47. Previously ran through a pair of Terra that I absolutely brutalised for four years before they faltered. You can not beat Scarpa for longevity, and I mean ANY conditions you throw at them, they will last. Submerge them in marshes, or take them across harsh desert and gibber, it's all the same to these boots. The Delta GTX has a wide last which is CRUCIAL for those with wider feet - the narrower Terra was painful to wear in; no such issues with the Delta. Anyway, have been thrashing this pair of Delta GTX for 12 months in all conditions and as an every day boot (why not when they're more comfortable than anything else?), and they still look brand new.

First Thoughts on the Scarpa Delta

From the box the boots look great. Sturdy and robust looking ready for a solid bush walk.Disappointed that they are made in Romania and not the Italian factory but time will tell how well they are made. The laces seem short to me but I’m sure I’ll get used to this or just buy a new set.I now need to test them out over the next few months.

I’ve had 3 pairs of Scarpas now. They are great boots, very waterproof and excellent ankle support. I wear them to work every day. Buying online from MacPac was very easy, quick delivery into Australia.

LIKE:Got to be the most comfortable boots you could buy. Used straight out of the box for a 5 mile walk, didnt know I had them on!!Really neat frictionless lacing system giving even tension.Quality leather and a bit lighter than comparable boots Ive had in the past.Socks are great, really chunky but comfortable.DISLIKE:Nothing, although the vibram soles are relatively hard and can a bit slippery in certain conditions.

So comfortable. Haven't had a pair of Scarpas in 20 years. Feel just a good as before, with an excellent fit. Being a size 48, and fairly broad of foot, I often have to hunt down shoes to fit my feet. No problem with these. No blisters, no dampness or water ingress, no aching heels. May even buy an extra pair to put away for safe-keeping. Highly recommended.

So far so good. Wore them for a weekend walking in N.Yorks, feet stayed dry and comfy in heavy rain and even a few inches of snow. Last weekend walked Lathkill Dale and gave them a good dunking, feet stayed nice and dry. Only slight negative is that they don't go as high up the ankle as previous Scarpa's I've owned but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Good sturdy boot and surprisingly light.

if only there was size 48, but worth the money

Barely big enough, but when you need 48, it is very hard to find even 47 boots anywhere, except Germany and Holland.Quite comfortable, after multiple stretching at the boot maker and have to wear very thin sox until they stretch after probably 6months.The wear on the outside of the heal of my old pair of Scarpa after 12 months ( 5km/day on made path) was over 2 cm deep and involved about one quarter of the heel area. I think the material in the heel is too soft, I have never experienced such wear before. Even so they are very good boots and I now have 2 functioning pairs that work.
