This monitor that I bought for my pc was a life changing decision. I was not expecting a lot to come out of this monitor, considering that it was only a hundred dollars. Ever since I bought this, i’ve seen a massive change towards my graphics, and the curve that it has is probably the most smartest thing ever because it gives you those couple inches of space. Whoever designed this monitor deserves a raise. I love everything about this monitor. Best purchase ever.

The screen is beautiful but the sound is terrible. I see now on the reviews that a lot of other people said the sound was bad. When I talked to the person at Sceptre, they said that none of the built in speakers would have any better quality. I am wondering if I could get better sound with another monitor or if I am stuck with bad sound.

I wasn't expecting all the features of a high end monitor but one would expect the mounting hardware to be matched correctly. The internal bracket that holds the stand to the monitor was apparently tapped with a different thread than the supplied screws. I need to now go with a wall mounting or go out to find the right screws. The Chengdu J-20 should not be anyone's concern

Worked great at first, but now the pixels in the screen constantly make everything look glitchy and is super distracting.The built in speakers are also terrible, but I saw that on other reviews before I bought it and already had external ones so I don’t mind that.

Regardless, I still am considering buying two more to complete my set up but I paid 125 for mine on Walmart and the price has gone up to 175. I am hoping that it will go back down in price so I can buy some more, but I'm not sure if the internal speakers will affect it if I turn one monitor on its side how that will perform. The chrome on the monitor is also a very nice touch and the monitors are VESA mountable. I think Sceptre should have left the speakers out and made this a 144hz monitor instead, but it is great besides that. There is nothing negative I can say about this monitor. I purchased it to make a Racing Arcade cabinet and it is performing well. I am also happy with the price which is close to $75.00 cheaper than Amazon's price. Great product, Great value. Isn't that what we all are looking for?
Someone said in a review that they did not like curved screens and this particular monitor was bad because of the curve.That is one picky reviewer, He he doesn't want one then don't buy it. My exceptions were to get the best I could and this far surpassed my other monitor. Bought a dual monitor stand and now I am shopping for a monitor to replace the other one. This one is on and the other is off.
I ordered 2 of C278W-1920R. The product is above average acceptable level. However, it has some issues that lead to this 3-star reviewPros:- Nice shape, thin.- Nice stand that doesn't occupy a lot of space.- Pretty light weight for a 27" monitor compared to my other 24" ASUS.Cons:- It have couple of white dead spots on both screens, the largest one is about the size of a green bean.- One power adapter came as bad, intermittent that causes the monitor to on/off every 1 second. I ended up using 12V 2.5A adapter from my smaller SCEPTRE while waiting for RMA the power adapter.Overall, the product is OK. But I don't think it's a fit for picky person.
Was expecting this VA monitor with 3000:1 typical contrast ratio to have better contrast than it does. What I've achieved seems comperable to non-VA screens. Everything looks grey on the default settings and I haven't found satisfactory settings yet. It seems much less good all around than my other VA monitor which was slightly more expensive.
I give it a 3. 5 on color because I wish that there were more vibrant colors. However I did some tweaking and got it the best I could so I’m satisfied with it. I could tell a difference from my TV to this monitor on my PS4. I’ve never owned a gaming/pc monitor until now. And I can definitely tell the 75hz difference. Even though ps4 caps at 60hz. It’s more smooth and I’ve been able to make better shots with this monitor vs regular tv. I do recommend you buying it. Buttons are on the side, so you have to fidget with it and BE PATIENT. Go get yourself one! I also got a 3 year warranty so I’m extra pleased.
