Was surprised to see soya flour among ingredients. Whilst bits one of the cheapest flours and is literally everywhere, lots of people are sensitive or allergic to it. Furthermore most soy is GMO and loaded with pesticides. Couldn’t have this one.

Absolutely yummy delicious

Price a but expensive but when you think how many times you can use it for make sauces is still worthy. Use it with barista oat milk, is an absolutely win win delicious sauce. Even alone it makes a great companion for foods. Healthy grease. How that sounds?.

Almost like the real thing!

This is hands-down my favourite gluten free bread. It makes fantastic toast in particular with a taste and texture almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The price is however, eye-watering, at more than 40p a slice. Asda is not alone among the various supermarkets in not helping those of us who have little option but to pay the extra. Please consider making it more affordable, bread is still a staple for so many.

Coeliac Friendly Beer
20 April 2021

Being on a Gluten free diet I struggle to find lager that accommodates my dietary needs, I am pleased to have come across this brand of lager and managed 4 bottles and encountered no gut issues at all!I can finally drink alcohol whilst amongst friends, It has a really pleasant taste both during and after drinking, the bitterness is low so it has the right balance of flavour and is a lovely golden colour which looks even more stunning and premium once the sun hits the bottle.I drank 2 bottles sat in the sunshine and another 2 accompanied with a spicy Indian meal and it worked well.Suitable for Gluten Free dietary requirements such as Coeliacs and bottles are fully and widely recyclable.Highly Recommended

Disappointing selection
28 December 2018

My husband bought me these as a gift - he read pecan and Belgium chocolate and thought I'd like them. Anything pecan is a win with me but I often say I wish Asda would do chocolate chip shortbread even if it's just at Christmas time. Of course I'd be happy if Asda would sell the brands that produce chocolate chip shortbread as well. Unfortunately he didn't read properly because it's chocolate and ginger shortbread - not a combination that worked at all for me. The pecan ones were ok but were more cookie than shortbread. The other 2 flavours went in the bin. It was also very expensive for the quantity - even more so when you only ate one of the flavours. I have no idea who was responsible for selecting the flavours but they should go back to basics for next year - ... MoreMy husband bought me these as a gift - he read pecan and Belgium chocolate and thought I'd like them. Gluten free lager at its best *****
6 May 2021

Wow I’m so happy that San Miguel produced a gluten free version of their lager. It now means we can all enjoy it as a family. We have three family members that are Coeliacs and this has been well received. I just love the taste. I’d describe it as a piece of sunshine in a bottle. The light lager has a fun, summer, citrus feel about it. Well done SanMiguel. I’m giving you five stars *****

Gorgeous easy drinking beer, we all loved it
10 May 2021

This is a gluten free beer tastes absolutely no different to one with gluten, you honestly wouldn't know any different. It is really tasty, light and easy to drink. We enjoyed them at a garden bbq one sunny afternoon. Everyone loved the beer (from old -age 76 to young age 25), infact they drink it all and I had to go out and restock! It is beautifully well balanced in flavour and I will definitely be purchasing again, when the sun comes out next!

Once again dry sponge
25 November 2020

These have the same problem as the original Schar orange gluten-free Jaffa cakes, the sponge is very dry, even more so if you compare it to the wheat McVitie's version, which I cannot eat due to the coeliacs. On top of the dry sponge there is an artificial after taste, which takes several swings of water to get rid off, this you do not get in the orange version. That said the chocolate and the amount of filling is comparable to the McVitie's, but, unlike the McVitie's which can be eaten alone, both flavours of the Schar gluten-free ones need a good amount of custard, so something more for an infrequent treat than something to munch with a morning coffee.

Perfect crisp flavor.
30 April 2021

I’m loving seeing more gluten free products hitting the shelves, especially the ones containing alcohol!! Perfect for gluten intolerances and for following a healthier lifestyle. Taste wise, I can’t rate this beer high enough!! The taste is creamy, full of flavor, not overly gassy, and there is a good head of foam on top, I mean what more could you need from a decent beer which doesn’t compromise on flavor or quality!
