Low price but high quality. There was a chip out of the finish on the headstock but for the comfort with playability and tones from clean to high gain along with the price, I can't complain and its highly likely this wasn't a defect from AMS because shipping companies like FedEx are known to roughly handle packages but I can say AMS did a great job packaging this guitar. They even had it already set up and tuned. I highly recommend buying this guitar for the sound and craftsmanship given its price.

I just started playing guitar again after a 6 year hiatus. I needed a new one. Got this on the 8 payment plan. My credit sucks but I had a guitar at my front door within 48 hours of applying for credit. It sounds amazing, feels good, solid build. I need a budget guitar but one that was satisfactory for an intermediate player this is definitely the right guitar for me. I almost got an Ibanez or starter esp, this is a way sicker guitar for only an extra hundred or so. Sounds good, feels nice, I got it in satin white its beautiful. Pick ups aren't like "Omg it sounds like active emg's* but they sound very good, action is good out of the box i may adjust a little bit, no fret buzz no issues you get with other guitars in the price range, its a beast.

I think that this guitar is perfect for beginners, the only thing i could find wrong about this guitar is the first fret on the high e string. When you play that note, there is so much fret buzz that you can't tell what note is playing. It sounds like the second fret but with enormous amounts of fret buzz. Good thing not many songs I play use that note.Other than that, this thing is perfect! The purple color with the silver accents is so nice.Since five stars is absolute perfection, I give it four, because its not perfect.

I ordered sunburst but received tobacco burst. 14 inch fretboard radius is a little flat for my taste but playable. Coil splitting would have been nice. Tone is good for rock, blues, metal and gospel. Humbuckers are on the dark side. Bridge pickup must be used to cut through the mix.

Backing off of the volume helps with this though.Features:The cutaways are really well thought out and make this very easy to play on. Additionally, the neck joint is very good. The frets were polished up nicely and there were no sharp edges.Ease of Use:This guitar is as simple as it gets. There aren't really any bells or whistles to speak of but the guitar more than makes up for it in playability and has some really thoughtful cutaways that make upper fret access a breeze. It's a comfortable weight too so if you're like me and have a terrible back, it's no problem to play standing up. The stock pickups sound good for what they are. I might upgrade them in the future but I'm in no hurry. Finally, I'm a sucker for blue guitars and so I got the Satin Metallic Light Blue and it looks even better than in the pictures!

But I'm just not feelin it with these pickups.I leave it sitting out in the living room just so I'll be tempted to play it. But I rarely do.It sits and collects dust while I play my Squire Affinity Strat. HSS.My Squire is quite noticeably better for harmonics, And it stays in tune freakishly well compared to my Schecter C-6.New pickups are in the future for my C-6.I got the case for this guitar when I ordered it. I have had a few electric guitars: a squire bullet, Gibson Es-335, and now this Schecter. I love the feel and the fullness of the pickups. I had no buzz once I put 11 gauge strings. I love the guitar and would recommend
Christ...this is starting to become a love-fest! I have wanted a good looking through body string setup in an electric and have been trying Schecter whenever I go to a guitar store...but there is always something that isn't quite right. With this guitar though it felt and sounded right immediately. The guitar tech, who is ALWAYS helpful tweaked the action down a touch and I sat there happy as...playing and comparing to loads of other guitars. It came out on top, then came home with me.
Overall:Just received this guitar today and right outta the box it's ready to play. No fret buzz, the action is perfect, everything is spot on correct. No blemishes anywhere. It sounds great through the Fender Mustang LT25 amp which I ordered as well. Both are great. My complements to zZounds for the whole ordering process and very swift shipping. If you need gear then i HIGHLY recommend these folks. They were excellent to work with.
