Useful, technology enhanced and easy to use. I currently have three of these. Although this was not inexpensive compared to other offerings, it was totally worth the extra cost. The build quality is good, the accompanying web application is excellent and it is easy to set up and use. Having the capability of holding 100 access codes sounds substantial, until you start giving them out to your various service providers, family members, etc. I love that the system will tell you who is entering the home and that you can set certain access periods. Lastly, it's nice that Schlage has inter-operability with certain home-tech platforms like Google Home.

Purchased this lock after positive reviews from the sales person at Home Depot. Quickly had it installed and 3 weeks later, the lock jammed. You cannot "unjam" these locks you have to replace them. After finally getting a replacement from Schlage, I had to have a locksmith come out and drill out the jammed lock and reinstall if for $300. New lock was fine for 6 weeks, then it too jammed. It's going to cost another $300 to have this lock removed. Save your money!

Lock itself seems to be fine. Plastic parts do not seem super sturdy but time will tell. Needed this particular color to meet condo requirements. Replaced keyed Schlage deadbolt-easy to do yourself. Looks great. Clear and concise operating instructions. Wonderful not to need a key, but you can use a key if so desired. Like that you can connect by WiFi to check history, open/close lock, change passcode etc. I am not a landlord, but if I was, I’d put these on every single unit! Money well spent.

It comes with all the hardware you will need, for almost all installs.The function has been good, with smooth action and responsive buttons.My only complaint is the phone notifications. They only seem to come through, while using the phone. The push notifications can be very delayed if you are not using your phone. This is with all permissions on. I assumed they would fix this software issue, but I found people complaining about the same thing, from 2 years ago.It is safe to assume this is just how it will work.*it is attached to Alexa, but it's nice to see by default you can not unlock by voice. WOW! Am I glad I purchased this keyless deadbolt Schlage lock for our front door. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation was flawless. I had it installed in under 10 min. I almost bought a lesser brand but my locksmith kept repeating over and over in my head, Schlage is the premier lock company. The little bit difference I would have saved was not worth settling on an inferior lock. I am now getting ready to purchase another Schlage for another entrance. Buy right and buy once...buy Schlage!
I installed this lock a few days ago and it has taken so much stress off my shoulders. The previous lock I had installed (Ultraloq) worked for about 4 days then ran out of battery power while I was out of the state on business which gave me tremendous anxiety. Upon changing the batteries the Ultraloq would not reconnect to the app. Ultraloq customer service is non-existent so I just ponied up and bought the Schlage Encode Plus at Lowes. The Encode is great and seems to be everything that I wanted in a lock before making the error of buying the Ultraloq on Amazon. Now I can get home from my office without anxiety and second guessing as to whether I remembered to lock the bolt or not. I can just check the app to make sure it’s locked and sleep soundly.

I almost didn't get the version with wifi but very glad I did!! I can connect to it anywhere I've access to the web and check the status and also be alerted if it was being tampered with. Good quality and installation took minutes. Another things is, yes I have codes for others like my GF, but I can connect and unlock, and lock, it for anyone I need to give access without making numerous codes. I do love that it's basically smudge proof! I'm on jobsites or working hard in the yard or wrenching and my hands get pretty dirty. We bought this after I locked my wife out with the baby by mistake thinking she had the house key before I left for work. This thing is a game changer. We have a master access code. If she forgets that she also has an app on her phone to open the door remotely. If she doesn’t have that either I can also open the door from my phone. Either way, no more getting locked out.Also love the connectivity with Ring camera. I can see who’s at the door and open it without ever getting up. 10/10
I have been using this lock for 2 months now and overall I am pleased. The install was easy. The quality is excellent, and the function is also good. I have been impressed that the lock will door shut even when the catch is not all the way engaged with the striker. Some features that would be helpful: 1. The Schlage logo is what is pressed to light up the lock. This would be consistent with other Schlage products and other similar locks on the market. 2. The numbers on the keypad are very faint in the daytime. 3. Biometric unlocking.
