I was a little skeptical about choosing this toy for my boys, especially since it doesn't make noises or have the usual flashy lights most toys have nowadays. They have had plenty of dinosaur toys in the past, and unfortunately, these type of toys usually end up tossed to the side shortly after receiving them. Overall, I am happy with this Tyrannosaurus Rex and I feel like it would make a great gift for any dinosaur lover.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex rendition by Schleigh looks exactly like a mini version of the actual dinosaur. Quality of the toy made when I was a kid, which is hard to find nowadays. Beautifully painted-very realistic! The moving jaw adds more fun and interaction, making the toy experience more complete and giving more fun way to play. My son loves making the t-Rex roar and eat things! The plastic has good soft rubbery feel so that it doesn't slip from your fingers even when wet. Nice weight to it and does not feel like a cheap model. Overall, I see this toy lasting for several years and can be passed to siblings.

This is the adult Tyrannosaurus Rex figure. All of Schleich's figures are crafted with exquisite details and hand painted. These are very educational figures because of the close attention to detail. Just be cautious of the pointed areas on the figure if young children are playing with these toys. Because of the attention to detail, the claws and tips of tails are a little on the sharp side. You must see these figures in person to do it justice. The pictures cannot do justice to the tiny teeth, claws, all the detailed work put into these figures. I received the Schleich Dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus Rex Toy Figure to complete an honest non paid review. I checked the pricing online first and I thought it was a little more than I would naturally spend on a toy like this. However, the dinosaur is a medium to large size and is very detailed. The toy has textured bumps all over it with incredible paint shading detail as well. The dinosaur is made of pretty sturdy plastic that I think will hold up well with rough play. Because let’s be honest kids are rough on toys. Oh, and the jaw opens and closes. Very neat feature! I would consider getting more dinosaurs in this brand because I think it is good quality that will last.
