Schleich - Tyrannosaurus Rex

I received this item for free to write a review and I also received two other of their dinosaurs to write a review as well. You can see them all in my 2nd picture. This is the adult Tyrannosaurus Rex figure. All of Schleich's figures are crafted with exquisite details and hand painted. These are very educational figures because of the close attention to detail. Just be cautious of the pointed areas on the figure if young children are playing with these toys. Because of the attention to detail, the claws and tips of tails are a little on the sharp side. You must see these figures in person to do it justice. The pictures cannot do justice to the tiny teeth, claws, all the detailed work put into these figures. My 6 year old niece LOVED all 3 of the figures she played with. She even commented that they "looked so real".

This is one it's very realistic which grabs my grandson attention, it's made , excellent very well it's not like a cheap low quality toy, and I love the fact that it is just simply a dinosaur. No frills no lights no sounds just a dinosaur. It inspires my grandson use his imagination more. Now he wants to bring the T. rex everywhere with him. It's awesome too because you can get it wet/messy if you are doing sensory activities. Getting this simple toy has also made me and my grandson study about dinosaurs and we end up talking about t rexes, paleontology, fossils, what t rexes eat, how they lived etc. I love how this toy is so good looking, teaches them science, and encourages imagination. He loves the fact that the jaw opens and closes, which I thought was a great feature .The dino's teeth are the same plastic as the rest of him, which is quite hard. If you kids like dinosaurs, this is the one brand to buy. This toy came without box .Schleich is a German toy manufacturer. And according to their website their objective is to give children play that will spur creativity and imagination. And the Dinosaur T. rex does that. I highly recommend it.

The neck and underside of its belly has a wrinkled look as it would with a real dinosaur! It is lightweight, and would make for a great gift for any dinosaur lover! The particular T-Rex I received does not match the picture shown in the advertisement, as it is missing the white dots and the detail under the eyes, and has more yellow than green eyes. It still has great quality and looks impressive!
