Purchased this product to put on my overhead reef rod. Used fabric softener and warm water to put it on as i have been for 40 years. Didn't matter was like high tensile fencing wire. Took it off a threw in the garbage where it belongs

I put this line on my sons egg beater you can’t go wrong with this line we use it on all our reelsIt’s tough for it’s size, 9kilo.Will buy this brand again

Why wouldn't you get a line of quality and a trusted brand for just a few dollars more. Bought a different cheaper brand and would break up in the main line just testing the knot. Also not as many wind knots either................... Y woodn ya!
This monofilament fishing line was built tough and performs flawlessly in many fishing scenarios which also involve rough terrains like oyster beds , jagged rocky environments and abrasive sandy locations..This German made product has been used by many of Australias finest anglers for many years and has stood the test of time...Personally i love the product and rate it above all other monofilament lines that are available within the tackle marketplace today..
This leader was recommended to me on a recent Barra trip to Weipa.Josh is involved in charter fishing industry and uses this leader fishing for Barra with paying customers and says he rarely has any failures as this leader is strong and robust but not as subtle as some other brands on the market.I used his knowledge from his experience when on a 4 day trip South of Weipa a total of 498 Barra boated and most released using solely 55 lb Schneider leader with only failures were broken lures not the leader.
Schnieder Clear Mono Green.Schnieder Mono line is & has been my choice for at least 35 years through early years as a novice recreational fisher to serious Club competition to later solely flishing for my own enjoyment I have used it from 6lb ,9 lb,12 lb 15lb& 20 lb my fishing in later times has been in shallow off shore rubbly areas that are hard on mono when targeting snapper and similar species and I have had good service from Schnieder when partnered with my Alveys of various rod reel combination and I have no hesitation in recommending it to you for all conditions
I have used Schneider in the larger diameters for years on nearly all my leaders. By far the best leader line I have used and much cheaper than your top of the line leader material. High abrasion resistance and good diameter for the rating. Many pro fisherman use it for exactely the same reason. I have used it on my spin reels in it's lighter line classes and it punches above it's weight in it's breaking strain but it is a stiff line and tends to "spring" offthe reel when the bail in open so ..... not too bad on overheads/baitcasters but I would recommend it mostly as some of the best/cheapest leader material around. The FG & PR knots all bite down well on it.
After using the 80lb Schneider line for leaders on bottom bashings around the coral reefs I honestly say it out ranks lots of the clear flouro carbon leaders.. Far better abrasive resistance and less bite off with Schneider.Makes sense to me more fish on than lost with Schneider..
been using Schneider line for about 30 years,never had a problem. great knot strength and good abrasive resistance.highly recommended
