I was unable to test it in a full size truck. This small unit packs a punch and keeps a full charge for up to a month even in New England winters. The light on the unit is helpful to see on dark nights. It will be interesting to see the durability over time as the buttons don’t have a great “pressing” feel. Would like more feedback to ensure I know I pressed the button also, the charging area where the USB’s are located, the rubber cap no longer fits. Only been removed once to charge. Now that I have had to use it, I tend to wonder why I haven't gotten one sooner. This was charged up and placed in my daughter's car. This jump pack is amazing. Straight out of the box super fast to charge and super easy to use. I love the fact that it is super compact and has its own traveling bag so I always know where it’s at. It doesn’t take up any space in my trunk but it’s always ready to use. This jump pack works on every vehicle from the older models with a standard battery to all the newer EV models. I have been super impressed with the way this Jump pack fires up every vehicle I’ve ever needed to start. Couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommend.

This is my second Schumacher Rugged Jump Starter. The previous one I received I gave to my brother in Pennsylvania. This one I got for my son who lives in the Denver Colorado area.This unit is compact and much more portable than lead acid jump-starters. It takes up less space than traditional jumper cables even though its cables are thirty-six inches long. And its surprisingly lightweight.Additionally, this unit features a pre-heating mode to warm the battery plus the ability to charge USB devices plus has a very bright built-in led light.This is a must have for anyone wanting to be prepared for battery related emergencies.
