Bought this to replace a well used Schwalbe marathon. It's still useable with over 3000 miles. This tire seems to have a more aggressive tread pattern so I expect even more traction.A real win!

These replaced a pair of freedom commuter (groove) tyre's that started to split along the rim walls and had been in use for about 10 months. Maybe could've got another 2-3 months out of them but they weren't ideal for the wet.I use marathon plus on my main commuter and have not had any issues so I bought these for my backup bike.There's a noticible difference when cornering with these over the freedom, the extra grip and reduced vertigo at 20+mph was a nice surpriseOnly down side is a slight speed loss but this is to be expected with the green guard over tyres with very little to no puncture protection.

Schwalbe Marathons are simply fantastic tyres. I bought this pair of a new-to-me Giant Expressway folding bike. The difference in ride between these and the stock Kendas is remarkable. Whereas the Kendas felt like you were ploughing sand over 15km/h, the Marathons just roll and roll. These are 20x1.5 and I really appreciate the extra comfort too. And no punctures EVER. Yay!

Schwalbe tyres offer superb protection from road debris, punctures and look great. They give me confidence when out and about on my folding Langtu bike.
I’ve cycled about 150 miles on these tyres on road and cycle paths with no punctures so far.They’re reasonably comfortable and feel sure footed on bends and descents.I used a cable tie to help put the tyres on as they are quite stiff so I’d advise keeping one or two in your puncture kit.
Tight to get on, but hoping they'll never need to come off until worn away!Reassuring stickiness feel to the rubber compound suggests adhesion and low flexion losses.
These tyres are perfect for riding on the road and trails so ideal for my 50 mile sponsored bike ride in June. The advice given by the Halfords assistant (Keegan) was extremely helpful as he was very knowledgeable
Exactly what I was after. Staff member was very helpful and understood what I needed so I could get back on the road.
Good grip wet or dry. After 1000km seem to be wearing OK. Comfortable ride and roles well.
Haven't had a chance to use these tyres as yet as I am recovering from a broken arm. They were fairly easy an simple to install, seem to be a strong build, I lil narrower then what I'm used to but I'm sure I will adjust in time.Arrived in decent time and smooth purchasing from website
