This is my favorite demi permanent hair color line of any other brand I have tried. I find Igora Royal Vibrance to be more long lasting and leaves my hair more soft and shiny than Redken Shades EQ, which I really loved and preferred before I tried Schwarzkopf. Use the corresponding cream developer, and 1:1 ratio of color to developer, and you get great results. When I use this to tone my blonde highlights, I use 6 volume developer and add their clear gloss in with the color and developer. I have learned that for toning, I get the best results when I apply it to towel dried hair, not dry. For my roots I do full color saturation and use a mix of 6 volume and 13 volume developer. Always expect color to end up darker than than the name seems to imply. My natural hair color is a light brown, but I use level 7 for my roots. I like a cooler beige blond, and cooler neural brown for my roots (because that is what my natural brown is) and I tried many color formula combinations, but was wishing I could find one color formula from them, so I would always get it to be the same, and I finally found it! Their Muted Desert line is perfect. I use 7.42 for my roots and 9.42 to tone the blonde, and it’s just so beautiful. It’s not too ashy, and doesn’t go “gray†looking on me, but it also really helps neutralize any brassiness.

This was my first time using the IGORA vibrance. I love the new cool tones collection . I also love a liquid formula for high shine and dimension. Hair feels soft and conditioned after using. Decent grey coverage for a Demi permanent . Easy to apply no to runny . Can be applied easily with a brush or a bottle. In this photo I used 4-33 and 6-23 equals parts on roots and 6-23 on mid shaft through ends .

Loved it! Using the included instructions and applicator made things a breeze. The scent wasn’t super strong like most hair dye so I felt much safer doing it at home. Packaging was minimal and perfect. So far color looks great and hair feels smooth and shiny!

Excellent Demi Permanent Color for toning

I have tried many Demi permanent hair color lines from many brands for toning my blonde hair, and I have found that the Igora Vibrance Royal lines is my favorite and always turns out lovely. I like to mis 9.4 with 9,521 or 9.1 to tone my highlights to a neutral blonde. I use the corresponding 6 volume developer, 1:1. Obviously if youre looking at Demi hair color, you know that using Wella T18 on anything but platinum hair that is all one color is not a good idea. If you highlight or balayage at home, or even need to tone salon highlights, this is a great line! There are color charts online if you need color guidance. :)

Great toner

I have very long hair that i colored bright red for over 5 years. I bleached it twice and ended up with a pastel orange.I used this toner for my roots and the color 9,5.21 for the rest of my hair.I did not expect the toner to do much since the orange was very light but yet still very vibrant but it toned it very well and evenly. Im in love with the color. The only thing I would do differently next time is mixing the 8.11 with 9,5.21 on the roots to make it a little lighter on the top.Very easy application, even for beginners. If you have fragile hair then use a protein treatment first to even out the porousity of your hair and make the color result more even. Also the hair feels healthy afterwards and looks very shiny. What a game changer! there was a lot less damage, and my colour faded gradually, without leaving a strong line of demarcation. The colour was similar to the usual permanent version by Schwarzkopf. I'd say 8-11 was a bit muddy on my really lightened hair, but it faded out to a nice colour (experimentation lol)

Perfect toner for my blonde!

I mix this with 10-19, and it's just sooo gorgeous on my bleached level 10 hair. The violet gives a tad bit of warmth (overall neutral?), which I think compliments my skin tone better than most 'traditional' ash platinums, which are usually very cool-toned. I pair it with the matching 1.6% activator, which keeps my hair looking and feeling so healthy!

So, I decided I wanted to color my hair dark brown. This is not new to me. I’ve colored my hair several times throughout the years. Especially my ‘go to’ dark brown. Everything went as normal except my tips didn’t reach the desired shade. (I went from blonde) So I knew I needed a toner to fix that. Because I have bought extensions to match my dark brow hair, it wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t blend perfectly.So, I went to Lyko (store) with a piece of my extensions and checked the color chart. Personally I wanted no 4 because I thought it matched my extensions perfectly, even though the shade on the chart said ‘brown’ and not ‘dark brown’. Here it comes.. I went back to Lyko (store in Jönköping) and explained my situation and the ONLY thing she could “help” me with was to wash my hair and keep me in the sun so my hair would naturally bleach itself???! Even more sadly she said that the shade the former staff recommended was definitely the wrong shade and too dark for my extensions. Well, it would be one thing if I chose the shade myself, so it would me my own fault.. but now I’m stuck with black/brown hair and extensions I can’t use if I’m not going to a hairdresser to lift the color.. I don’t know if I have bad luck with stuff like this but I’m really disappointed.Great product otherwise!!

Super!

I had tried another brand first and though it did cover up my baby chicken yellow almost entirely, I felt is was too bright. I am a natural dark blonde and wanted more towards my own colour. I mixed 45ml of 8-46 with 15ml of 8-19 (violet to counteract the yellow) and I am totally happy with the result. I feel the darker suits me better, my hair feels softer and curls better again, top! ❤️

Zero stars

This is the most upset I've ever been buying anything thru Wallmart. Of course, it's only $8.39 so I'm not our a lot of money , good thing! The problem is the description gave me know idea that this bottle apparently needs another bottle of activator lotion that did NOT come with it! There's a tiny picture that helps me surmise this much because there are NO directions in English!! Ok, now I feel a bit better since complaining. On with the rest of my day. ..Oh, and I had to pick a star rating so it has a one star but it deserves none.
