As a pastel pink hair dyer i was pleased to be given the chance to try a vibrant pink free of charge to review. A good concept for those who don't want to fully commit to a new hair colour. The dye kit was very easy to use and the smell of the dye was pleasant in comparison to others I have used. Application was easy and results on blonde hair were good. Although the colouring wasn't quite a vibrant pink as I'd expected. I liked the option to either have the vibrant or pastel effect in one kit.

influenster & live colour hair sent me this complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. ✨ Unfortunately, it didn't take to my hair at all😳. I tried to achieve the pastel tone but as I needed to use a fair bit of conditioner to cover my whole head, the 'pea-sized amount' of colour I was instructed to mix in wasn't enough. Next time I dye my hair pastel I'll just buy a kit that specialises in that. I see what they were trying to do with this two-in-one but I think it leaves too much room for error and I hate that I received a whole tube of colour but was instructed to only use a tiny amount. #IColourLikeNoOther 👀

Wish I'd read the reviews before I bought this for my daughter. She was so excited, but after leaving the dye on for over 30 mins, there was zero colour when she washed it out. It was almost as though she'd been sitting there with nothing more than a conditioner on her hair. Even when applying the dye there was no colour. Actually unbelievable that this product is still being sold, as I see that the same thing has happened to others. Very disappointing and surprised that a brand so well known for hair care/colour has such a dud product on the shelves.

I am having some time off work so thought what better time to try my hair blue.I have lightened long blonde hair usually. I used two packets of LIVE electric blue. Left it for 40 min to develop and took care to ensure it was evenly applied.After rinsing I was left very disappointed as the colour did not appear to deposit evenly through my hair and then I had mostly blue hair with patches of what appeared silver/grey all through it.I have been washing my hair everyday and also using the pool every day and out in the sun the best I've been able to do is fade it. How do I get my blonde back? I thought this stuff was meant to wash out?If I could rate a zero I would.
Firstly, I have been dyeing my hair for over 30 years. Usually I use La Riche Directions showing pink, buy I ran out. La Riche goes really bright on bleached hair and rich on unbleached. Never patchy and easy to apply. This product however is patchy and dull. I used on my pre bleached hair and left on for 3 hours (I was cleaning my house) my hair is slightly pink with bits of orange and streaks of my own colour. DO NOT BUY THIS
Easy to apply using fingers on sectioned damp hair.My hair before dyeing is naturally ginger but going grey in places and have had blonde highlights.Colour turned out a very vibrant purple, especially on the highlighted bits. Not so bright on my non highlighted bits of hair. Very pleased with the result overall. See photo.After two washes it has faded quite a bit to a lighter purple.
I have never dyed my hair permanently but thought I'd try out this semi-permanent hair dye and I am obsessed! My hair is naturally dark brown so in advance I bought two of these. I ended up using up fully all two dyes but I'm so obsessed with the colour it gives! I get constant complements about my hair whenever I use this dye. I personally wash my hair every other day and I must say, at first this washes off quite quick but after frequent use, this now lasts me for good 2-3 weeks. I use colour protect shampoo just to maintain the colour and I am so please with this dye! It's honestly one of the best however very hard to find in west London! I hope all Superdrug stores stock up more on this because this is the best semi-permanent dye!
Purple punk, Australia. Your hair NEEDS to be blonde (light/medium blonde at the darkest) for this to vaguely reflect the photograph on the box. My hair is medium brown (pre-lightened to a lighter reddish brown shade): the result is a cherry red (glossy, soft and nice). BUT the shade is NOT a purple at all. I appreciate it should be lightened for best results, but the result images on the box for the medium and medium/dark brown are totally misleading lol.
Put this over bleached blonde hair and found it took really well. I only have shoulder length hair but should really have used 2 boxes as hasn't quite covered little bits. Also would say it's definitely more red pink than pink pink. Looks lovely and vibrant though and I've had lots of compliments on it. Also very shiny and smells lovely. Some colour coming out after 4 washes but not much (aside from roots). When it needs redoing I'll definitely buy 2 boxes to be on the safe side.
I bought this around a months ago to dye my natural mid brown hair for the first time. I was told one box would be enough as my hair is quite thin and shoulder length but it turned out patchy. The first couple of days after dyeing it looked amazing exactly how I wanted but after a week it was a reddish-brown instead which still looked nice but not how I wanted. 5-6 weeks later and it's still there slightly my hair is now a warm-brown colour instead of it's previous cool brown. Luckily it smells lovely and my hair was super soft afterwards definitely recommend just may fade quickly and also it runs like crazy
