I used this blue as I have always used Live hair colours. But this blue was shocking. It was applied to off white bleach blonde hair at shoulder length. Not only was there not enough hair colour but it dyed the hair a grey green blue and it was patchy with intensity. The slightest part on your scalp is terrible, it just stays for weeks on the scalp. And no matter how much you wash it out, it continues to leave everything blue that you touch for weeks. Even when your hair is dry, you will find blue on your clothes, your hands, everything. It's the worst blue semi permanent I have ever used.

I used this hair colour over the Absolute Platinum colour, as advised on the packet. My hair is fine and chin length, and one packet was just enough to cover my hair.It was tricky to apply and get it to take to the hair. However the end result was amazing, it looked so vibrant. It gradually fades out into a more pastel blue colour.However the last bits of the colour can be very stubborn to get out, I have quite porous hair and I still have very light blue hair 2 months later, despite washing my hair every day.It also doesn't appear to stick to darker blonde hair very well. My natural hair colour is medium to dark blonde and the first time I used this I didn't bother pre-lightening my root regrowth first and it didn't take to my roots at all.

I have naturally light brown hair, and thought that this would come out as a nice dark blue. I bought two boxes and left it on for 25 minutes. I rinsed it out and put the care conditioner on as the instructions said. After my hair had dried I could not believe what I saw! My hair was a blue-green-brown colour! From far away it just looks like a darker brown. It wouldn't even look too bad if you couldn't see the bright blue on my scalp. Do NOT buy if you have darker hair as it barely looks blue at all!

I’ve been colour staining my hair since going white. I though what the heck! Bern blue before, but not this shade. Easy to use instructions, quick result. What is left on skin comes off easily. Shade stayed bright for about 6 washes then faded a bit but I added a pink to the gun and it went purple. Happy days. I’d like to see more colour options please.
I have medium neck length hair, my hair is naturally grey. I used the entire tube on clean dry hair. Then wrapped my entire hair with food plastic wrap and let it dry for 1 hour instead of 30 minutes. So that the hair color would take a good hold. After the 1 hour I took the plastic wrap off and dryed my hair an extra 10 minutes with hair dryer. Then I just rinsed the hair color with luke warm water. I did NOT use shampoo or the hair conditioner from the box. Other wise if you use the conditioner, it will give your hair a pastel blue, instead of electric blue. Once I dried my hair the color came out dark blue, but when the sun hits my hair it looks very electric blue for sure. I LOVE IT!! It stayed on my hair until after 6 washes. I regularly colour my hair all kinds of crazy colours and this was the most difficult. the product is so thick which makes it difficult to apply. I also needed 3 tubes for my shoulder length thin hair and it still came out patchy. It has also faded incredibly fast and very unevenly. Anyone looking to go blue I would recommend Colour Freedom instead.
I got this for my black hair. Obviously I had to bleach it cause it was too dark. After I bleached it. It was a gingery colour then I just dyed it blue at first I thought it wasn’t going to show cause it’s happened a lot of times before but it surprisingly appeared it’s a very shear colour. Just what I wanted! You can only see it in the light though.
Always use Schwarzkopf Live, as it’s the only 1 to not irritate my skin. Had been wanting to go Blue for ages. I’ve got mid/dark Brown v.short hair. Bought the Max Blonde Lightener, as I knew the Blue’d not show through my Natural colour. Started with the Lightener, followed all the instructions. Came out totally Blonde (obviously). Then, did the Blue. Looked GREAT, during application time - SO BLUE! But, after the recommended time, I rinsed….and lost what appeared to be 75-80% of the Blue. Now it’s dry, it looks Dark Grey, with Blue only visible in the right light. Really not happy.

Put the dye on DRY hair and ensure it literally coats every single strand unless you're going for a different look (you'll need more boxes, my hair is nipple length and I use about 4/5 boxes usually). Leave for longer than they say! I leave mine at least an hour.Up keep: wash your hair as little as possible, I wash my hair every 4 or 5 days, it can be difficult in the beginning but eventually your hair will adjust. Use sulfate free shampoo! This is the most important tip, shampoos which froth will take the colour out immediately. I use kind natured shampoo and have found it the best.
