Since I thought the brand-name "3-M Scotch-Brite" meant that it was a quality product, I decided to purchase the company's Soap Dispensing Dishwand. Sadly, this dishwand completely let me down, disappointed me, and even infuriated me. After just two-or-three uses of this poor-quality dishwand, it began to leak--and not just in one location, but in TWO locations. Purchased this dish wand this morning. Will return to store tomorrow. The faulty design, mentioned in the reviews as far back as 2018, still exists. Large hole in center of sponge causes dishwashing liquid to leak out if not stored in an upright position and, when in use, all liquid in wand seeps out. Massive waste of dishwashing liquid and very poor design. Very disappointing. Will not purchase again and do not recommend.

The Scotch-Brite brand has rapidly diminished due to the extremely poor quality, durability, and reliability of products they offer. Especially, the Dishwand. I've been a loyal customers for many years now and a daily user of this particular product. The sponge pad typically detaches within DAYS. The entire product is disappointing and purely a waste of money. Definitely not amplifying the overall brand affinity or salience as I will no longer purchase any Scotch-Brite branded products again.

I need to open the wand to remove the packaging material, and the frame that holds the opening broke instantly, leaving this product unusable. Although the scrub pad looks like it could handle some tough jobs, and having a handle to protect my hands would be very nice to have, part of the device is so fragile that it broke at first opening. There is a level one pushes to remove and replace that scrub pad, so I pushed it slightly to remove a piece of cardboard stuck inside it as part of its sales packaging. It instantly failed.
First, I have small hands and this wand is a perfect fit. I find that with this, I am able to do a better job of cleaning pans with less effort. I really appreciate the fact that by applying a little pressure to the handle, more detergent is applied to the sponge. I have a friend who has seen me use it and is getting one hrerself. All in all, it's a good product.
I love this product for its usability in helping get into tight spaces. It really helps prevent my hands from drying up from washing dishes for too long since my hands don't touch the water as much when using this. I am not sure what the point of the little button is as soap dispenses perfectly fine without me touching it. An issue I have with this is that perhaps the wand is too short because whenever I am scrubbing the twist cap at the tip often unravels because my hand covers it while washing dishes. So it does not stay in place well. Also, I find I use much more soap with this wand than with a regular sponge because the soap just continues to dispense onto the sponge continuously. I found that using the brush helps cut down on time and allows me to get through the dishes faster. I received this product as a free sample to try form 3M. It's a cool idea, however I had a few concerns with it. The sponge is hard to clean and squeeze it dry. The opening of the handle is small. I'm worried that if you don't store the sponge in the correct position, it will leak out all the liquid soap. Also, what do you do woe the sponge is old? Replace the sponge or the entire tool?
I wasn't so sure that a "sponge on a handle" would be a big deal. Boy was I wrong. I am still keeping sourdough starter in jars and the starter is so sticky and my hand just fits inside the jar. I used to just give it a good rinse and hope the dishwasher would get the rest out. That was not always successful. With this dishwand I'm able to clean the jar very easily and not even have to worry about putting it in the dishwasher. The soap is already on the sponge, and it works great with my normal dish soap. I just put the wand in the silverware basket on the counter sponge side up to dry out until I need it again. The last, but perhaps the place where I'm using the dishwand the most is just doing regular dishes. I started using my Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Dishwand as soon as i received it. The feature that i like the most is keeping hands dry and away from leftover food. The scrubbing strength is excellent yet non-abrasive on delicate materials. Pouring detergent into the dish wand was easy and straightforward. All in all a good household tool to have around the sink
