AS a practicing oil painting artist we are always looking for lint free cloths to use while we are painting. Not as easy as you would think. An paper towel doesn't cut it. Our artist friends in the USA gave us the scoop on using shop towels that were perfect for our use. I have a roll in my studio and one in my travelling kit for classes. Love, love, love

I know these are good for 'everything' but they have completely elimated the need for disposable wipes in this house. We use them for daily intimate care for a handicapped man. They don't break down when wet, can hold a 'bundle' (If you know what I mean!), yet remain soft. I can even rinse them out and reuse to get a good clean. I even a fold a few into a plastic bag, moistened, when we go outl. ujMuch better than disposable wipes!

I go through a LOT of shop towels as a car collector. I buy these by the case (or cases) and have rolls all over the mancave / shop. They are way tougher than standard paper towels regardless of the brand. Depending on how dirty a job is (from picking up little spills of water to major clean up of greasy parts) they hold up to the challenge and can sometimes be used multiple times. Scott is the best brand I have found and I prefer the rolls vs other ways of distribution (boxed).
These things are like my go to for everything. As weird as this will probably sound to most of u I even use these (when home n e way) to "wipe" or "dry" after I pee! I'm super "weird" about br hygiene and I LOATHE using traditional tp it's just ... MESSY I use a wet wipe and then dry with a shop towels. I discovered this the first time by default cuz it was the only thing available where I was at the time, I cringed thinking YIKES that looks so absorbent and "dry" or SOMEthing like it will straight suck ALL MOISTURE from my body probably leaving me with a mild or not so mild case of "rug burn" but I held my breath and WOW. NOT DRY OR UNCOMFORTABLE IN THE LEAST in fact it left feeling almost as clean as my wipes do at home and literally from that moment on I started ... MoreThese things are like my go to for everything. There my super long review exposing my "weirdo" dirty little secret is done and if there is n e one "weird" like me who can relate out there I hope it helps! Lol. Ps: I use them for literally just about everything else u can imagine using a paper product for they really r almost magical in there diversity and level of awesome sauce mess!
Everyone is trying to save money while deceiving their costumers. I have been using Scott shop towels for years. They have always been durable and strong. The ones I just purchased are not much better than paper towels. I will probably not buy them anymore. I will go back to bargain brand paper towels.
I have used Scott Shop Towels for a very long time. They are great to use. My concern is how small the rolls got and the cost of theses. . Always buys 1 or 2 cases at a time! Rolls go down so fast. Always putting new rolls on. Work habits remain the same. How much smaller are they now than they were?? The shop towel is a fantastic product.!!
Scott’s blue paper towel is good for cleaning up dirty jobs. If you use it to clean a car window for instance, it will transfer its glue to the window if the windows hot. Been buying them for years, getting too expensive. I have switched to a lint free tool. Still good for a greasy mess.
The ultimate towel for your cleaning needs if you have delicate surfaces, tough jobs or just want the best shop rags for your garage. They will not scratch tile, glass or polished surfaces so they are great for any type of home cleaning. They are so durable they can be rinsed and dried numerous times, even put them in the washer and dryer. As a shop towel they are super absorbent and thick so they make cleaning up oil, grease and solvents much easier than porous red rags or cheap paper towels. Definite recommendation for performance and usefulness.
I use these for special jobs. Oil changes, brakes, bearings, greasing fittings, working with lubricants, cleaners, and wiping down tools and hardware. Why would you irritate your customers by changing a simple thing like a shop towel? Making a smaller sheet and selling 1/2 rolls doesn't make any sense! I would rather pay more money for full size sheets and a full size roll!! So sad!
