Does it's job

Works well, the end portion is a good size and the "fork" part works surprisingly well. I would just recommend getting the longer version. Especially if you're going to be using it for the freeze-dried "backpacker" meals. I found that it's too short to reach the bottom of most of those sized bags. That's my only con. Very light weight and the small carabiner it comes with is a nice touch.

Does what it is supposed to

This spork is honestly very good. It is lightweight and feels pretty durable. My only complaint is that it is more of a spoon than a fork. I guess because it is round. It also is a little bit shorter than I expected. Other than that works great and I am going to make good use of it.

Great for lunch on the go

This spork is super useful to bring wherever you might eat, easy to clean, sturdy yet light, pretty convenient. It also includes a carabiner to strap to your backpack or so. Excelent product (:

Great spoon
5 October 2021

Great spoon. If fits in the slot on my jetboil, doesn't add weight and is perfect for dehydrated meal pouches. If you are worried about getting your fingers dirty, they have a longer handled version, but this one was great for me. It loses 1 star because it is just textured enough to feel weird on my tongue.

I Can Hardly Tell I'm Carrying It!
28 April 2017

I got this to replace a spork I had from Taco Bell, which replaced a pair of chopsticks from Pei Wei. (After a while they developed a kind of aftertaste.) Once I got over the sticker shock, this thing kinda grew on me. Matter of fact this is my second one.Insanely light and plenty stiff, it's just the right tool for everything from soup to foie gras. It's just a tiny bit short for those Mountain House bag dinners - your knuckles might get foody. And the ultralight unobtanium carabiner is worth the price in it's own right - perfect for hanging the light in the tent!Five solid stars - I'd give it six if it was a Bear Grylls spork.

Lightweight, but Durability Takes a Hit
13 September 2015

This spork is incredibly light weight, but that comes at the cost of durability. The titanium is so thin that I have accidentally bent it while packing it, while hiking, while cleaning it, and (after about 2 years or use) even while eating! This is a fairly inexpensive spork compared to other titanium options. However, I have a plastic spork/knife combo that has lasted me nearly 7 years. I also have a titanium spork from a competing company that is now pushing 4 years old and looks brand new.The weight savings you get from the Sea to Summit titanium spork is minimal at best, so it really comes down to the cost. If you are really strapped for cash, but want a titanium spork, then go with this one. Or, if you're like me and continually forget parts of your mess kit ... MoreThis spork is incredibly light weight, but that comes at the cost of durability. Long term, I'd rather spend $10 once and have something that will last 5-10 years than spend $6 every third year.

No relation to the 221 except there are both made by Singer around at time.
25 November 2015

From singer301 site Big Sister - Big Brother - Sorry, Wrong Family! The Singer 301 "is not" a Big Sister or Big Brother to the 221 Featherweight, a nickname wrongly used implying they are from the same family. The truth is that the Singer Model 301 was an entirely new sewing machine that revolutionized the sewing-machine-of-tomorrow with a design to make home sewing easier. It has nothing to do with the past, but the future, it was the beginning of the modern Singer sewing machine as it is today. It may be portable with a folding bed but that's about it. In the real world it is a full size sewing machine that has many new features, a modern precision designed casting along with being the first slant-needle sewing machine, all of which have absolutely no relationship ... MoreFrom singer301 site Big Sister - Big Brother - Sorry, Wrong Family! When it comes to a simple to operate straight stitch sewing machine nothing compares to the Singer 301. You can say that the Singer 301 had it's own family, the slant-needle sewing machines, and was the Big Sister or Big Brother to the 401A, 404, 403A, 500A and 503A.

Peak of Singer's straight stitch machines!
1 June 2020

I believe the 301 series machines to be the finest straight-stitch machines made. They aren't as cute as a 221, but they are significantly more capable, with the deeper harp and gear drive they make short work of any quilt piecing project. They only weigh a little more than a FW, and have a convenient, fold down carry handle. Much more pleasant to use than our Baby Lock Quilters edition!

Worse than the snow peak
28 August 2022

I lost my spork and needed a new one. The snow peak spork was out of stock at REI so I had to get this one. While slightly lighter than the snow peak, it bent when using it to open my bearikade bear can.I also like that the snow peak comes in different colors that makes it harder to lose, and I think the shape is a little more awkward than the snow peak one and the ribbing makes it harder to clean. So, I say, unless .3 oz matters to you, get the snow peak spork instead.
