I purchased the XL size , and very impressed with how well it absorbs water. I’m even more impressed of how quickly it dries. I purchased this towel for its many uses, in the beach, for taking a bath, and for rolling up wet clothes to dry them.I’ve paired this product with the Sea to Summit clothes line, the Scrubba portable wash bag and some bio soap when I went on a 3 camping trip.I look forward to using all these products together on a longer backpacking trip once this pandemic is all over.

For travel and camp, you can hardly do better for compactness and ease of use. And since the 3 different sizes I have are, together, smaller folded than a single ordinary hand towel, selecting which one(s) to pack is based on needed properties only.

These are the best towels! I also have the pocket towel. I love them. The texture and way it absorbs takes some getting used to if you are comparing it to your everyday house towels but once you get beyond that point they are phenomenal! It is so nice to go to the beach and just be able to easily shake the sand off your towel! Or dry off and then a little while later dry off again with the same dry towel! I am nomadic, and will be for any foreseeable future, and various sizes of these towels will be all I have, it already is all I own. The Dry Lite towels are one of our most used items in our van. They are perfect for traveling and camping. We take them with us when we do day excursions, but they also do double duty for us as dish drying towels. The small is great as a dish towel and/or hand towel. Like the loop to hang on hooks (perfect for drying). There are several colors so my boyfriend and I know whose is whose. We've shown these to several friends who've gone and bought them too. Highly recommend!
I have a larger version of this towel which is great for the pool and gym but it’s bigger than I need for hiking and takes too long to dry on the trail. So this size is great, absorbent, soft and is takes less time to dry. Great that it also has a loop to hang off my pack on the return hike.
I recently bought an XL version on Amazon. I have had a regular size in teh past. In both cases, I have had the tab tear off the towel - actually the snap comes undone so that the tab is removed from the towel (no actual tearing).On my older regular towel, it took a long time to happen. On my XL, it happened the first time I tried to hang from the tab to dry - when to open teh snap and the snap came off such that the tab was not connected to the towel anymore.Like I said - great towels and I like the big size - was on a 7 day sailing/snorkeling trip. But, seems like tab needs work.
Perfect towel for swim P.E. at school! So small, lightweight, sucks up the water, and dries before my kids come home from school. Bought 4 xl for each of my kids and they were worth every penny. Instead of a giant bulky towel to carry, they have a 4”*6” packet that weighs less than a pound wet. Best invention ever. A bunch of their friends immediately asked their parents for them.
I have a couple of these towels now, and they function as advertised. I usually keep a large one at base camp and take another smaller one with me on the trail. They dry quickly enough and store nicely. I advise following the washing/drying instructions carefully to not damage the microfiber material and you should get many uses out of this handy item.
Very packable towel without the annoying fiber pulls as with other micros. The case has breathing holes to let it dry. The handy hang loop is great for public showers but mine broke at the snap, otherwise 5 stars. Go as big as possible since you'll wish you got the next size up⬆ They're very light weight when dry and the sun helps. I lay it across my handle bars and windshield and by the time the tent is packed it's dry enough to wipe the sweat off my face. The case has breathing holes for continued drying. Hang it on my scooter cycle and in 5 miles it's dry again. Use it as a backlava for face and neck protection. Rain hitting your face at 30+ mph hurts.
I like this towel a lot for cycle touring where the weight penalty isn't as bad as when hiking. It folds up into a compact package. It's got a nice suede feel and dries fast... Also the loop with snap button works well.The towel is just big enough to serve as a ground cloth for a picnic, say, which is the main reason I wanted the XL. But if you're going hiking it's probably not worth bringing such a large one when you can get away with a medium or even a small.
