Sea to Summit Eye Shade Grey

I have taken to adding these to my bag, anytime I am away from home. The ability to grab a nap or rest (especially during time zone change) is improved dramatically. A key feature is the convex shape of the eye covers, which eliminates any contact with your eyelid. Small, lightweight and comfortable.

I use eye shades every night as I am very sensitive to light when trying to sleep. I had considered buying this for some time but was put off by the price. But I am very glad I caved in and bought this item. These eye shades seem well made and sturdy. They can be hand washed. They feel a lot more substantial than other brands or types of eye shades I have tried in the past....no poofy foam or flimsy elastic bands to keep it on your head. The headband is a lot thicker and very adjustable. I am a side sleeper so the positioning of the adjustment slider does not bother me, but if you are a back sleeper it is possible it might annoy you.

I’ve used this sleep mask for years and it’s held up. I am extremely picky when it comes to falling asleep and have a huge street light right outside my bedroom window. This is comfortable, lightweight, washable, and SO much better than every other sleep mask I’ve tried. I’ll admit I thought $20 to be pricy for this item but I’ve used mine for many years and needed a new one due to fear of not having it in the future more than actual necessity. It is worth the price because it truly far surpasses everything else out there.
