However, 7075 aluminum alloy has a higher yield strength than 6061 aluminum. Consequently, 7075 aluminum is able to withstand more pressure and more impact without deformation. The yield strength of 7075 aluminum is due to its chemical composition and heat treatment. Besides that, 2g less per peg for weight conscious back packers. I would still recommend the purchase. Sea to Summit produces some of the finest products.

These stakes are a great size and weight. They hold really well and I like the multiple slots for lines. My only minor complaint is one of the finger pulls broke the first time I pulled out the stakes. That's easy enough to replace though. Otherwise, they're really nice.

These are well made pegs, that would make supplementary pegs for any hiking tent. Highly recommend them.
I am taking a star off of these pegs because one of my loops ripped out of my hands when camping this weekend and using them for the first time.I can just loop some new rope through there and accomplish the same thing but they should really be made stronger.The pegs themselves are great.
Used a couple of times and are fairly durable (sooo much stronger than the ones my tent came with). No bending yet and pretty easy to stick into the ground.
Nice light pegs with great holding power in various ground types, the only thing is they don't replace sand pegs for very soft sand. Easy to put in and remove. Very durable if you bash them into a rock. May lose some of the blue anodised coating in rocky hard ground but doesn't affect performance at all.The only con is they won't fit into eyeletsbut keeping a few round steel pegs sorts that issue. All in all you get an extremely tough peg where a whole peg kit is 2kg instead of 10kg.
This is a decent upgrade over the weak shepherd hook stakes my tent came with. They are lighter, harder to bend and can easily be hammered into the ground. I bought some to test out on my tent and ended up buying more to use with my tarp as well!
These are pretty nice stakes! They’re quite light compared to some older stakes I have, but they seem very strong (in so far as I haven’t managed to break or bend them yet). I like that they have a plastic finger protector around the rope to pull them out of the ground. This is much easier on the fingers than just the rope.
Used them to replace heavier round pegs. Used them so far on sand and compact soil, was effective in both. Reflective cord is a nice addition. Be wary of hurting yourself when inserting the pegs however. Would recommend.
