Sea to Summit Titanium Spork

Good design with long handle to get right to the bottom of the packaged dried meals that you just add water to and heat. light weight being titanium coupled with stiff handle that does not bend easily.if at all.

A sturdy, light essential for backpacking

No more light my fire sporks! Switched to titanium and love that it feels sturdier in the hands and can be used for cooking. I didn't know they made a long-handled one, so I'll be picking that one up next as this one is a little too short for my MREs.

Does everything it's supposed to do

This spork was everything I expected it to be. It felt smooth and gentle on my lips. Sipping soup from it near a camp fire was also very pleasant.

Great Spork

I needed a smaller spork for my son on hiking trips. And this was worked out great. It cleans up easy and is super light.

Great Spork

The model shipped to me has a solid handle....no holes. Don't care. Its still super light. And probably stronger. It has a weird dryish texture but I got used to it quickly. I don't notice it now. The little fork teeth are perfect for stabbing at those little beef cubes with a spoon full of noodles when eating dehydrated beef stroganoff.

Great for lunchbox too!

I have the really long handled one for eating out of my freeze dried food bag, and a few shorter ones that I keep in various places: my car, my lunchbox, my camp stuff and even in my purse. I've got plastic ones and wooden ones, all of which have broken bits. But nothing works like these. I don't like to use disposable, for the earth and for my mouth. Win-Win!

Great size & easy to clean

This spoon is long enough to fit into my boil meal bags & is easier to clean than the foldable forks because it is smooth & has fewer creases. I first used it during a week long camping / hunting trip in Montana during early May.

Highly recommended.

As the owner of many Titanium sporks and spoons, I must admit that I have often looked down on these as cheap junk. But in my last order I decided to try some, hey they are only $1 each what could I loose. Much to my surprise these sporks are great. I have used them when camping, hiking and at home in the shed for 2 minute noodles and pasta. They are strong, durable and, lightweight. They seem to be somewhat heat resistant. These have preformed way above my expectations. Highly recommended.

Not dishwasher safe

The spork is great except that it is not dishwasher safe. The whole coating of the fork has worn off from being placed in the dishwasher and the implement is not marked (not stated in the technical specs here) that it is not dishwasher safe. I hope I'm not eating coating similar to the flaking Teflon on non-stick pans. Please add that to the packaging and spork itself. I have a picture of this, but can't upload here.

You won't have to eat with your fingers.

Great little spork. It is very lightweight, almost suspiciously lightweight. The price is fair for what you are getting. This will be the only eating utensil I pack from now on. Mine also came with a cool little carabiner which I'm assuming is also titanium. I'm sure it will work it's way onto my pack somehow.
