Bought this in two sizes: one to stuff my belay parka and the other for rain gear. Does exactly what it says! Extremely lightweight. Haven't really had anything get super wet, so I cannot comment on waterproof capabilities, but it seems like it does the job. A bit pricey, but otherwise great!

These dry sacks are so helpful for keeping my pack organized and my gear dry. I've strapped them into canoes and kayaks and filled up hiking and day packs alike with all the different sizes and am always confident that my gear is staying safe and where I want it to be! Buckles are sturdy, sizes are appropriate, shipping is fast.

I bought a number of these dry bags in different sizes and colors. I just got off a river in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and it rained every day, except ONE! I was rafting and used a large, tough dry bag, lined with a large Ultra Sil dry sac ... then organized my gear into these smaller bags. I have found that redundancy in the field is a good thing! It was so nice to reach in and grab a bag, knowing what was inside!!! All my clothing and gear that needed to stay dry DID. As I pulled individual Ultra Sil Dry Bags out for different items, the other things in my pack stayed dry. Organization and dryness - what more could I ask for!One thing I noticed is that I don't need as large a dry bag as I thought I did, as you can compress items, and save space. I bought a smallish one a few months ago to use as a bear bag and it is perfect! Ultralight and it closes in a way that is waterproof and can squeeze our air. I just recently got another one (large one) to replace a pack liner & will be using it on my next trip. So far I have used it once in a day pack, and it worked well. Highly recommend!
Good for what they are designed for was able to stash just enough stuff in to still roll and close. They feel very thin so not sure how strong or durable they are but are good for what they are designed for. I like they are somewhat transparent so you can see what is packed inside each bag if you have more than one. Fairly expensive for what they are but the colours are nice and bright. Are as described.
Extremely light weight dry bag. Perfect for any occasion when you need to keep your phone, camera, and/or extra layers dry. Since these are ultra light, the materials of the bag are pretty thin. So be careful not to put sharp things in or around the bag. I've owned a smaller size bag for over 2 years and it still works well. Got the 20L this time for extra layers during winter hiking. The closure mechanism is simple and forms a loop for hanging or clipping onto a rope. Good quality product.
Used these for a while now in different sizes. Use them both when i travel and backpack, usually keeping my spare clothes in a 13L bag, using the 1L bag for electronics and the rest how I fit them. Pretty light weight and have stood up to a completely wet backpack.
For the last year or so I've used these and the slightly thicker 'light' version for kits around the house and on the road. Haven't had one fail yet and the removable buckle fits both kinds if needed. Pricey but works great. On sale 25% a few times a year.
We purchased these after our recent backpacking trip when our down sleeping bags got wet on a rainy day, despite being in a plastic bag and in the backpack with the rain cover on. They are one of the lightest dry sacks (almost like a plastic bag) on the market, competitively priced and well made. We are looking forward to subjecting them to the real test on the wet West Coast Trail next week!
The manufacturer recommends STILL placing electronics in a zip lock bag on before placing in dry sack. I used this for seven very rainy days in the bush during a great walk and none of my items were wet. A bit pricier than other brands but great quality and very light.
