Pond Stability will rapidly and safely establish the pond biofilter in new ponds, thereby preventing fish deaths due to incomplete biofilter cycling. Pond Stability will also prevent and reduce sludge build up. Pond Stability is formulated specifically for the pond and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. I've used Stability for my aquarium and new it to be a good product, so I wanted something for my pond. Once I saw that there was Pond Stability by Seachem, I knew I wanted to try it. And I did. And it really worked well for helping stabilize my pond, esp. after having emptied it almost entirely of water for a good spring cleaning. I actually got to see the bottom of my pond! My fish were not affected, nor were the tadpoles or the plants. I'll be buying it again and also the other Seachem products. I think they are superb.
